I was looking to buy a new Fight stick for SF4 and Kof, but I am not sure witch one to get. Witch is better out of the two Hori Real Arcade PRO 3 SA or MAdCats Street Fighter IV FightStick Tournament Edition. Also does the Madcats stick work on the PC? |

The TE is awesome & does work on the PC. Hori is also a great brand & something I use myself they work on the PC as well. I believe the only difference between those too sticks is their "moddability." The TE is one of the easiest sticks to modify with your own art, buttons, stick, etc. If you aren't interested in modding the stick I would say go with what's cheaper, whatever you find for less I'd say would be best.

Both are great. As a little bonus if you have a bc PS3, the HRAP3 SA will work on psx/ps2 games, while the MadCatz will not.

I've been eyeballin that Hori HRAP3 SA myself. Anybody know of a reputable dealer of those, or what kind of price is reasonable? I think the best i found soo far was 119. |

Thanks for the reply. Ya i think i need that stick. I have a TE stick right now, and love it. I also have the Tekken stick that came with the game, but its kinda light, and small for my taste. I really want another good stick, for when my son comes over and brings his friends. There always seems to be someone that wants to use the TE, and that leaves me on D-pad. If ya asked me 3 months ago, i'd say i suck on the FS. But now, its the only way i play. I also came across a Tekken edition that was apparently released in Japan, of that same stick... But the shipping is like 98 dollars. lol. But i like that smooth silver look to, prolly just gonna order one of those. I'll keep looking around, and finalize my decision. Its a shame the local gamestops dont stock any of this stuff. I'd much rather just walk in and buy it... |

I'm probably gonna get the TE stick myself rather then bother looking for which one is the best. Plus if I ever decide to mod then the TE stick should be the easiest for that. Sounds like a safe bet to me
