A crimson pool so warm and deep.
Lulls me to an endless sleep.
Your hand in mine - I will be brave.
take me from this earth.
An endless night - this, the end of life.
From the dark I feel your lips.
And I taste your bloody kiss.

Whoever has the most bars.  If not I choose by their icon/language.  It's all about lag/no lag for me.  And I rarely take long to choose, don't want the room to fill up.  Can barely read people's names anyway on my little SD TV.

EDIT: Better question might be, once you realize you've played someone before do you counter-pick their character? (Since you most likely know who they are going to use).

Confession...

In answer to Tongari's question: YES

I do counterpick them, and that is the end of that.

i don't have the game quiet yet but id go with the one i always lose to because anyone can vs a... dont want to say a sucky player but i will.. sucky player and get point or whatever. If championship mode is anything like Ranked matches on Halo 3 then i enjoy vsing tough people so that i get better in the process and you have fun while doing it. plus you can totally learn his/her strategy and modify yours to win because honestly if your strategy seems to be working are you going to change it?
