3s is perfect the way it is.  Anybody who compalins about overpowered characters or any characters that need to be nerfed are noobs and shouldn't be playing the game.  If you can't get around a persons play style with a certain character, than quit cuz you obviously don't understand the mechanics of defense.

thats the most ignorant statement ive read in a while. 3rd Strike is the most unbalanced since theres 72 points between Chun and Sean. Not to mention chun is broken. to give you reference, SFIV is balanced cause theres only 32 points between Sagat and whoever is last. thats less than HALF of what 3rd Strike is.

Ive been playing for 4-5yrs and studied the tier for the past 2. It doesnt take a genius to see that some chars. are just cheap and need to be nerfed. Of course most ppl wouldn't see that cause it comes with experience plus I main Alex and hes low tier. So I see how much a match can shift with the use of a shoto/high tier and what they can abuse and get away with and really so how scrubby a person is.

Characters should only be nerfed when they are practically unbeatable or just plain broken (Akuma from ST would be an example, and Chun from 3s does not compare to this because she is not a broken character).  Tier levels are useless mainly because it can be shown that ANY character can win.  It is simply a matter of play style and adapting to different players.  When it comes to high level play, the character chosen doesn't make or break the match, the player does.  So all I am hearing from you is whining and bitching about how you picked a low tier character and can't beat an average player who picks a top tier character.  That just screams to me that you need to learn how to play the game.  Learn defense.

And before you come out screaming how I probably play a top tier character, I play the lowest tier character in the game and still don't complain about character matchups.

Learn how to play the game.

Sorry dude if Chun,Ken and Yun win over 90 % of the tournmanents u cant tell us that the cast is on the same level. If the palyers are on the same level and they play lets say twelve against chun. the player of twelve most work a lot harder to win agianst chun. It´s almost a battle against wind mills 90% of the time u gonna lose.

I swear people who give me numbers with video games such as street fighter and try to give me percentages and talk about Top Tier this Bottom Tier that only makes me wanna go into a SFIII tour and beat everyones ass with Sean like I did at the age of  10 in the local arcade.

"Yeah um 90% chance of surivial here cause your chun li and he's Sean he's a low tier"

"All Homie lets do this LEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRROOOOOOOYYYYYYYY JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENKIIIIIIIINNNNNSS"!

I'd kill a chun li player in 40 seconds I hate the whole under estimation thing with Tiers its reatarted and people need to get overthemselves cause I'm POSITIVE they only say it when they wanna feel smart.

True I grew up with these characters I'd love to see them evolve, but I'd hate to see them be forgotten because capcom felt like TELLING US WHAT HAPPEND BEFORE III AFTER WAITING 10 DAMN YEARS. 10 YEARS CAPCOM 10 BIRTH DAYS OF NO NEW STREET FIGHTER 10!!!!

I'm glad they're doing this. Putting SF4 in between 2 and 3 is borderline retarded. They need to progress with the storyline, not go back

I'M LIKE A HADOKEN, CAUSE IM DOWN-RIGHT FIERCE

Do the Vega Roll.

PSN Gamertag/ID: JPCWhutwhut. Add me and we can play some SF4

Well Twelve's moveset are a bit limited compare to Chun Li, Ken, and Yun (Hell, Twelve has a super-art that makes him transform into another character). Though in New Generation characters like Yun didn't have all the movesets that he does now in Third Strike, so in this supposedly "new SFIII game," maybe Capcom will give Twelve more moves in his arsenal.

And Yeah, I do agree, players do have to work harder to win with certain characters than others. Like Ken for example, I always thought he was more noob-friendlier than Ryu mainly due to his flashy style and speed, and Ryu being a bit more slow and no flashy style to speak of with him.

If they make a 4th version/update they need to:

-Re-do the HUD/Interface

the 3rd Strike HUD is super ugly, make the new one a fusion of SSFIV's and 2nd Impact's. This goes for things like the menus and character select screen.

-Add a few more characters

Some original characters that play like Claw or Dee Jay or Fei Long or Rose. No SF2 characters please. What the game has is enough.

-Touch up the graphics

Add more frames of animation here and there, make the backgrounds look better, bring back some older ones, look at some awkward existing things(like some of the win poses) and re do them to some degree.

-Rebalancing

This is pretty straight forward, hopefully this can be done with the atmost care, on the level that HD Remix's was or even better.

Not much else really, the rest of the stuff would be obvious like better versus, training, and survival modes.

yea but you might just be really good compared to that chun-li. pesonally i think all characters can be played with o the same level but the learning curve for that character is different. it took me a while to learn how to use Alex(my main) Hugo and 12. after that i tried using akuma and ken and it is really easy to play with them effectivly
