There should be an option where you can block people by the number of bars or signal strenth. people with zero or one bars keep entering my room. I actually prefer atleast 3 bars to play SF4. anything below has input lag. If this feature is added the over all online experience will be a lot better probably even less disconnects.

Agreed.

I live in south america and it's really frustrating getting arcade mode interrupted by the match making every 3 seconds, because some dumb ass insists entering a one bar connection game.

Even if I kick him, he sees on the list that the game is 1 bar, he enters the game again.

Make an option where I can block everyone lower than "X" bars from entering the game.

A ban list would also be useful. (Get the blocked list from PS3, and make those users unable to enter your game)

I tried using the PSN block list and it takes too much work.

The block list only blocks the user from sending you message (AFAIK)

Just to to "players met", select a user, and "add to block list" (or something like that)

Someone can't be your friend and be on a block list. You have to delete them from friends first

This is something I wanted to start a thread about as well.. MORE FILTERS concerning online gameplay!

This is indeed very annoying and Capcom really should add the option of choosing the signal strenght for online opponents in any kind of online mode.

Well if your being picky i guess 3 bars is a must... but i have to say 2 bars is usually more than enough, sf4 is the game with the least lag i have ever played. it is extremely rare that i encounter lag in games with only 2 bars. Either the bar system is kind of flawed or its just the connection messing up alittle, since i have entered games with 3 bars and when i enter the lobby there is suddenly only 2 bars.

I just hope capcom doesnt change to what ever online system the WWE games are using, havent tried the newest one but the previous one is unplayable because of lag.

But yeah being able to block 1 bars would be a good feature ( i even have games without lag with people with 1 bar, but yeah i usually dont pick those, I stick to 2 and above), that people usually either kick anyone with 1 bar or the person who joins leaves. I guess there is not reason to see games with less than one 2 bars.

How about if instead of having to kick people, they make the online better? I can play HD Remix with my friends in Japan just fine, there's no excuse for me not being able to play SFIV decently against Unity's favorite Canadian, Toshin.
