Will Super Street Fighter IV have a collector's edition like Street Fighter IV? If so, what do you think should come with it? Special packaging, Blu-Ray, arcade stick?

A bonus disc with every single Street Fighter (and Final Fight) game. Direct arcade ports.

lol, with many of them being on sale on the Wii virtual console for 800 points each? I don't think so.

I would have loved to see it come in a nice case, either fake black leather or metallic with a thick art book,the soundtrack, DLC content codes, a SSF IV anime DVD/Blue-Ray and i would also love it if they made mini comic books with each character's background story

I'm tired of collector's editions that offer squat for your money.


For me, something like a developer's art book is the way to go.  Unlocking concept art from the disc is fine, but I would still like an actual art book for SFIV.  Other content is fine so long as it is high-quality.  Cheap figurines and other low-quality fare doesn't interest me in the slightest.  Moreover, the content should be exclusive.  If there are exta costumes for the collector's edition, then they should only be available through the collector's edition.  I'm willing to shell extra $$$ for a collector's edition as long as there is something worth collecting included.

If it mimics teh last collectors in that it comes with a soundtrack (didn't the last one only have the character themes?) and a Juri figure then i'll definitly be dropping for one! I mean its only like 5 or 10 bucks more. Not that bad than mosr collectors items that come with a bare empty disc of jack!

There are a few things I'd like for a C.E., but for me it has to be a making-of feature, despite it probably showing up on youtube days later.


An artbook would be great, but I think Capcom will hold off to make another big book dedicated to SSFIV, with all the new designs coming from the game.


A slipcover would also be cool, individual ones so you can get the character you want on it.

An artbook would be nice. It could even be a small one (like the DMC4 artbook) & just included some SSF4 concept art & character art. I'll be happy with that.


Also a Juri figure to go along with the Ryu & Viper figures from the previous C.E. & a nice steelbook case. Cool

IMO, no bonus stuff this time... You can still find SF4 CE's at video game stores that will be bound for clearance soon.  Plus, if history has anything to say, this game won't sell as well as SF4.... Capcom knows this.
