Safe to say Ultras are not a "one or the other pre-selectable" option?  Or just a build where no matter which you select the Ultra will be the publicly released one?




 


I too was wondering what the heck are the differences between the 2 systems?

not really safe to say anything till it's confirmed, but thanks for pointing this out. It does make you wonder.


It could also be that they haven't finished her other ultra yet so 1 and 2 do the same thing till then.

Well in the official trailer, Juri does go into a second Ultra pose, the screen darkens and she licks her lips, and then of course, the infamous "time" over her Ultra gauge also...

Maybe everyone's Ultra 2 is gonna be like most of the characters SA3 in TS where it alters some aspect of their gameplay for a limited amount of time.

I'm not really a fan of those, primarily since Yun's is game-breaking.

But as long as I don't have to choose between it and the other Ultra before the match, I'm okay with it.

Except we've already seen Juri's Ultra II (which is the one she's been shown doing during the gameplay vids) and it's not the "Time" one.

I'm willing to bet selectable ultras ala SFIII... but what throws me off is if the Ultra retain color code (I have a Screen of Juri with the TIME ultra enabled.) Ultra I is Green and Ultra 2 is purple. TIME is in purple with the meter purple as well, but Ultra II is also purple and we all know Ultra II is her Sexy Ultra (ya, it's very!)

Yeah, good point who ever said the tounge thing , you can clearly see the "ULTRA" zoom in effect arround 


the 26sec mark, then it cuts to her Stompin the yard all over bisons a$$, the they cut to her (2nd) ultra THEN it cuts to the spinning ballerina of death thing 


so Im convinced that her first ultra will involve her "stompin' the yard" lol

It could be that the bar changes colour when her Ultra I is activated, the same way the super meter changed colour when you did Yun's Genei-Jin and/or Makoto's Tanden Renki.


For the record, her meter is coloured green when it's in Ultra I.
