Hmmm maybe u got a good story line their for Cody ut don't u think u might got something better, because when it comes to fighters maybe he might got a connection with Guy, abel or Ken wha u think?

Unless I'm mistaken, SFIV had a tournament and we don't actually know the story for SSFIV. Although I don't see why there would be one (I'm sure Seth got all the data he needed from the fighters in the tourney in SFIV) I'm not ruling it out at this point.
All we know is that SSFIV takes place a year after SFIV. We don't know there won't be another tournament unless you know something I don't.

Pretty easy. Cody did beat up Gunlock in storyline in SaturdayNight SlamMasters when Gunlock tried to hit on Jessica, I guess seeing Cody as short tempered man he'll beat up Abel when both are just walking like.both bumped shoulders

Thats funny becaue I can see it happening like that. I mean the Guile VS Abel rival scene was jokes, they just started fighting after a very few lines.
