Agreed it's the jumps for me they feel floaty like John said. I think it's only with the characters that flip in mid air though maybe that the animation has more frames but the jump is still the same speed, optical illusion?? maybe I dunno but the jumps used to feel faster.

you may have a point there kinda like I said earlier with duplicating the 2d animation and using 3d models maybe it is just more frames being added to make the 3d models animation look better hmmm...

Do not speed up this game, or Viper players will be screwed. Feints and cancels are hard enough to do now. Make the game faster, and she becomes nearly unplayable. |

Betcha good money that guys like Kyabetsu and Uryo wouldn't mind her being faster and would probably be deadlier with her with a speed boost.
I support a new (or remixed) Darkstalkers game!

... or she becomes more deadier under the right hands... human brain-hand coordination can work at faster speeds than the one necessary to manage SFIV technics and combos. it is just a bit harder and need a bit more training, but its completely feasible. |

I think the speed is fine but if they are going to change it then do it already with SSF4. |

I don't see the appeal of making a character who's already rarely used because of difficulty, even MORE rarely used. Even if the tip tip tip top players could manage to survive the speed boost, the rest of us mortals would struggle like crazy. Why cater to the tip tip tip top players, when there are many more mortals in the world? |

I really dont see a speed boost as being that detrimental to anyone seriously I mean if you played SF3 prior the execution of links cancels were noticeably faster. Then if you went to SF4 you would have obviously had to adjust to the new timing which I did and many others as well. So why would speeding up a little be so bad just adjust again hit training mode if you have to youll be just fine.

I just don't get why people can't just accept that a game plays at the speed that it does. That is not a "flaw" just because one does not like it. Yes, SF IV feels somewhat floaty, especially at first. But you get used to it. Hell Turbo felt unnaturally fast to me when I first started playing it after playing SF 2 World Warrior for so long... and WW didn't feel slow to me at all until after playing ST for awhile and trying to go back. |
