In soulcalibur 4 you could unlock all the weapons by buying them in the psn store
they were available you didnt have to buy them it just instantly unlocked them so you didnt have to spend hours trying to earn them.

how about that for SSF4

have the costumes available , but in order to get a characters extra costume you have to beat all their challanges normal and hard, than their story on any difficulty to get their extra costume. and still have em available to buy just when you buy they are unlocked instantly wrather than you have to complete an insanly difficult task.

the same can be done for color, personal, art.

The Survival and Time Trials were really dumb.  Really repetitive too.  I'd rather have dipswitches for each player (for gameplay change, challeneges, etc.).

I did like the combo trials, but some were just way too hard.  I'm pretty much a completionist, but I even gave up on some of these because they were too hard.  El Fuerte #5, Abel #5, Viper #4, Gen #5, Rose #1 come to mind...

even so, its an extra option, and by challange to unlock character alternitive costumes tyou have to be their trials, all hard and normal, you know wear you have to all their moves/combos,

than just be able to pay to unlock them wiht out having to spend months earning them, its nice deal if you dont have time to unlock them with months of practice.

People actually use dipswitch options?  Never liked those, because suddenly I'm not playing the same game as everyone else.  And its all about playing other people to me, not gonna force them to play with my wonky settings either.

Also, don't give up on hard trials man.  One at a time.  Finally finished mine recently.  Viper's hard trials and Gen#5 are actually pretty easy once you get the hang of them.  Fuerte/Abel are hard no matter what, but keep doing em and sooner or later you'll get it.

Don't remember Rose having a difficult trial..

EDIT: Yeah, Rose hard trial 1 isn't difficult if you know that you generally can't special after two combo'd hits if the hits are the same button (which applies here since they're asking you to do 3 cr.LP into a special into a super).  The only way to that kind of combo with nothing but cr.LP is to time the 3rd hit as a link.  In other words, cr.LP x 2, pause, cr.LP into special into super.

This way it still counts as a combo but also as a single LP (which you can special combo out of).  If that makes any sense.  I had practice with this already since cr.LP x 4 into EX tornado spin is one of Rufus's options.

What would be the point? Don't you actually want a point to playing the game? What's the point in a game if there is absolutely NOTHING to achieve?

Im saying if you want to achieve you can, but if you dont want to or simply DONT HAVE THE TIME TO UNLOCK THEM than you can pay real world money $, yen, or euros to unlock them quickly.

This isnt a matter of honor or pride, or even earning/achieveing,

its a matter of just playing the game to relaxe because i dont always like unlocking stuff sometimes I like to play just to unwind and relax.

And for the sack of reasoning you dont have to pay to unlock them if you want to earn them than do it! i want to pay for them.

Capcom gets more money and they dont even need to add anything,  other than a small strip of programing thats about 100 kb.  i mean i think thats fair.
