All these extra modes are very cool. I think SFIV had a lot of replay value and now with all tehse new options it is only gonna be more addicting.

Truthfully, I'm more excited about story mode, rival scenes, and stuff like that. Can't wait to see it.

Same here. .

You say that now, but after playing through story mode after a month, you probably won't think about it that much. All that's left is competition which is the biggest reason a fighting game has replay value. Of course you need great gameplay to get people to play and compete.

I'm looking forward to story, bonus stages and other little things and I know they will be fun for a while but it doesn't even compare to the fun you get playing others in the long run...still one complements the other and a good story will make people pick different characters

You know when ppl say "Who plays figthing games for the story?", well I'm part of that crowd who plays it for the story yet also for fighting other players lol. Everyone has a different groove for what they want in SSFIV. Not sure if you recall but I'm probably one of the few who doesn't care much for lobbies and prefer just one on one online since I have fun without needing anything extra--with the exception of a better netcode.

I am happy though they've added all these features because tons of ppl requested it so that's cool. I'm just saying what they have now is satisfactory for me--I just prefer features that involve the story of the game. I still play--till this day--single player arcade mode whenever I want to see the rival battles/ending or just to reach Gouken or Akuma. I might be the only one perhaps lol

So yeah, it is a win-win situation for me since both happen to be what I enjoy.

I understand that you still like the features and it's all a plus but you've gotta be excited for tourney mode and team battles at least.

For me the story is really exciting in the beginning then I move on to the competition where most of the hype and excitement takes place.

For most people, they don't mind a good story and it only adds to the game and makes it that much better but in the end it's mostly about gameplay and competition.

Anyways it's a win-win situation for everybody and with bonus stages in arcade mode, I'm actually looking forward to it a lot as well.
