worries over 2 Ultras and netcode and no character specific stages

Saaame here. SFIV's stages are just so lackluster to me.  Especially since only one is directly linked to a character (Seth.) Having personal stages adds tons and tons and tons of nostalgia.

About the 2 Ultras, my vote goes to choosing pre-fight.

If we are having 2 Ultras I hope they will both be availible instead of selectable pre-fight like the SF3 series ...if not I don't mind selectable really .....

For netcode .... I have worries that all these new modes with more players is going to introduce lots of lag .... even though all those modes are being added .... I hope they keep the old modes too that have fixed 2 people lobbies , as this will be the best choice for a lag free match.

For stages I really hope each character gets his/her own stage to go with their rival music . I personally The spirit of El Fuerte's music seems wasted with no stage to go with it ... hehe ...

They can give some characters the existing SF4 backgrounds and make new ones for the rest of them , if time and money is short. But to recreate a lot of the classic stages would be very pleasing thought if they are able to deliever in the timeframe.

What i am worried about is the net code, all they have been announcing now are new modes and nothing about the net code.

Look at the no comments thread.  There is a post where ono says he is aware people want individual character stages.  He says it was not done because of time constraints.

The only thing I'm worried about is netcode and character balance. I love everything else, even the things I don't know about yet lol

The whole Ultra system seems for people who suck at blocking..what they need to do is put in 2 SUPERS. What, the only time you get variety is when your about to die? I miss the Alpha days, all the things that people wanted (Music, Stages, etc.) were all there..

Guy & Adon are coming back for SSFIV!

SF2HDR > SF4, as far as online is concerned. Not strictly a sequel, but definitely a step back from a previous title.

Furthermore, I can't see a good reason why they would not announce GGPO if it was actually in the game. However, I can see why they would not make such an announcement if they were not using GGPO.

We don't know what the deal with the 2 Ultra's is yet so until announced by Capcom noone here really knows and all we can do is guess and give opinions on what they think would be better.

And unless i'm mistaken Ono said they were working on Character specific stages.

Well, HD Remix and SFIV were done by completely different teams, not really comparable. GGPO would be nice, it worked great in BlazBlue. I think it would be easier if the Ultras were just selectable like in SF3.
