Yeah i'm all for Bison returning as the main Boss.. I don't dislike Seth, but Bisons like much superior to him as is a few other characters so it really doesn't make sense lool.

Very interesting.

Anyway, even if I hate every single aspect of Seth with a passion, I'm pretty sure Seth will stay the boss of this and every eventual future SFIV iteration. They never changed a boss between different upgrades of the same series, even when the storyline progressed.

I don't think they're gonna add a "personal enemy boss" feature... because basically they already have! Everyone has his own sub-boss fight against a (normal character) rival... and then they fight Seth. You have both systems. Just like in the Alpha series.

For the future, though, I'd like things change. I imagine a SFV set after the events of 3rd Strike. This game would have a roster of "boss" characters: Bison/"Dictator", Gill, Akuma/Gouki and a new boss (and maybe also Gouken, Sagat, Ryu, Urien, Ingrid, Oro and/or other god-tiers).

Every character would eventually end up fighting one among these 4 (or more) bosses. Ryu's would be Akuma, "Dictator's" would be Gill, Gill's would be "Dictator" (Shadaloo vs Illuminati), Guile's would be "Dictator", Gouken's would be Akuma, Alex's would be Gill, Urien's would be Gill, etc...

When used by the player, these characters would play normally, be balanced, and could be used in Tournaments. When fought as CPU controlled bosses, they would have crazy AI (of course!), raised stats, and maybe also have access to 1 or 2 moves (say, 1 special and 1 super/ultra) that human players cannot use (Gill's Resurrection and/or full stage attack, "Dictator's" Full Screen Psycho Crusher, basically any of the left out Gouki moves...).

Seth would still be in, but he would have suffered serious brain/hard disk damage by then, and would work like the token Mokujin / Combot / Marionette (secret) character (playing every round with the style and moves of another character), even though he'd retain his own Supers/Ultras (and wouldn't be able to use other characters' Supers/Ultras).

You just said everything I was going to.  I am one of the only people out there that likes seth? I like him as a boss, Yes he is a lot cheap but come on every boss has been that way. I guess there is not a grip of people that remember beating the old games on the snes on the hardest setting just to see a sweet picture. Bosses have always been dirty cheap arse faced bully cheaters.  It's what drives me crazy in a whirl wind of curse words, and is also what makes you stand up and scream with your hands raised high when you beat the crap out of a boss. Bison has had his time in the lime lite, (doing sissor kicks 136 times in a row with no charge time). Time for the next boss to take his place.

While that's not ever been stated at all, that would be an AWESOME reveal.

That would mean Bison was originally in the Illuminati, and decided to try and conquer the world for himself instead of enforcing their ancient plan.

It would mean Bison's cloning technology is probably originally taken from the Illuminati.

And it would mean Urien and Gill's powers were a form of Soul Power.

Dude, lots of potential.

1 this will explain why Seth seem modelled on Urien image and base his powers on opposite kind of energy, like Gill do

2 Effectively Urien's energy grahically remind a lot Dictator's

Anyday

I really wanted Capcom to make a REAL boss, not a robot-crap like Seth turned out to be

Something like Geese or something

Anyway, I love Seth's storyline though (just not the fact that there are 25 of him)

Capcom Geese is Dictator

Capcom Orochi is Gill

For have a "Geese" they just have to put again Dictator as boss and downgrade Seth (SF4 playable version) at a normal character with wannabe tha boss story.

I will appreciate a lot have before the last fight his shadaloo kings back, maybe with Hakan as the 4th Shadaloo sub-boss or with him replacing Sagat (that actually don't work for Dictator)

But is useless talk about this,Seth is yet confirmed as the boss again
