Im not insulting you but seth killian never said anything about noone is getting nerfed infact it was already stated by ono last week that sagat and seth are going to get nerfed.  You might want to look up your information noobie.

Yes he did say it noobie. Here's the quote:

"Is Sagat nerfed? No. Sagat got better. SAGAT GOT BETTER. And Seth got cheaper.

Actually everybody got better, it's just a question of how much better they got.

So that's the good news, if you've got a character that you like, they're gonna get more juice." - Seth Killian

Here is a link to a video of him saying that.

So while they will likely be way more balanced relative to each other, and not as relatively good as before, it will be from buffs across the board, not through nerfs.

I play on the psn and i fight zangiefs in g-1 all the time that are very proficient with him.  Maybe you are on xbox live or dont play at a time when skilled zangiefs are played.  Like i said watch some high level above g-1 players and you  will see zangief players who own across the board vs all characters.

I never said there weren't skilled zangief players. But skill is the key word.

He does not beat everyone when the players are equally skilled (or I'm wrong and he won evo).

Zangief has some bad match ups, some even matchups, and some good matchups.

He has consistently slid DOWN the tier list since the game came out as SMART PLAYERS learned how to deal with him.

The lariat is OP.  Some characters really have no other option than to piddly poop him down with 1 or 2 attacks because they have no other way around it.  If they'd just reduce the size of the hit box on it, it'd be fine, but as is, the thing is practically a wall, which is incredibly stupid.

Yeah that's why zangief wins all the tournaments with his awesome lariat.

Everyone has a way to beat zangief. smart players punish lariat all day long, which is why I hardly ever lariat.

Ok so he did say it which i forgot but that doesnt matter cause Ono said that they are, no offense to seth but ono is the end all be all.

The French site Jeuxactu.com has written up an interesting story about Super Street Fighter 4. I've done a rough translation of the piece, so keep in mind some things might get lost in translation.

  • Sagat and Seth were specifically mentioned in the article as being nerfed (not being as effective).
  • The rest of the cast is being rebalanced by altering the power of some of their moves along with changing up the frame data.
  • There will be new opening and ending sequences done by a 'great Japanese animation studio.'
    • Assumption from author: The user-interface will be receiving an overhaul.
    • Assumption from author: Bonus stages have been confirmed.

They also included a new video which shows more Dee Jay and Juri action, but you can hear a clear new sampling of background music too.

It comes down to the necessity of projectile throwers being able to keep grapplers away and grapplers being able to get close and in betweeners able to be somewhere inbetween the two. The answer is more moves to deal with each type I mean if you keep toning down all the characters eventually they will all be the same some characters are supposed to have a natural advantage just like in life but does'nt that make it all the more fun when you take them down.
