I just logged on to see that there will only be 4 new stages for Super Street Fighter 4. Am I the only one that went, "What?". That was a big complaint about the first game and Ono even said in recent interviews that they heard the cry from the fans on this one. I'm no game-maker, but it is my opinion that Capcom has very talented artists and making many stages should not be a problem. We fight in these stages over and over and over again. We really need more variety. At the very least we should have as many stages as we will have characters. Also, I believe there are some badly wanted stages that aren't coming to the game. How many people want to see Sagat's classic lying statue stage re-done? The night-time windy grassland/forest stage from the Alpha series that has been shown in the intro to SFIV and many of the trailers with Ryu and Ken going at it? I am here humbly asking you Capcom, please please give us more stages. I know you are hard at work with the new characters and the balancing, but please can a couple of guys be put aside to getting this accomplished? I hope this is heard and I hope others voice their opinions. I do not believe to be the only one who thinks 4 isn't enough. Thank you! --Shane Source: www.capcom-unity.com/jigsaw/blog/2009/12... Right above where it starts talking about the India stage it says, "SSFIV will have 4 new stages."

Pretty sure this doesn't need to be it's own thread. What with there already being a thread about stages, which is itself actually the second thread about stages.

I'm pretty sure that such a plea would be lost in a sea of other stage topics. This one is very specific and needs to be seen and addressed as soon as possible. Some background artists need to get back to work at making this iteration of SSFIV everything it should be. Thank you.

I actually *can* believe it. Is it off topic for me to post here? Or should I make my own thread for people who can believe it?

Except there isn't a "sea" of other stage topics for the exact reason of we lock topics like these.

OK Well I'm not going to argue here. You guys can attack my all you want, I guess you have nothing better to do. All I ask is that you please respect my right to post this. I do not believe I have attacked any of your posts. With all the problems in the world, I'm sure you can find something better to do with your time than attack me for trying to get my opinion out there. If the mods see fit to lock this, so be it. That is all, thank you.

Said right does not exist, therefore I refuse to respect it.
Capcom owns the board and none of us outside the company have any "rights"

We're "attacking" you because you are violating the forum rules, not because we hate you.
If you want to voice your opinion about the stages situation, you can do it in the thread where we all have to make all our stage related opinions, and where a dozen other people are right now saying the exact same thing you're saying in this thread.

Where have said these will be the only stages in the game? Is this confirmed somewhere? If so, then I am really dissapointed in Capcom. All these stages look alike. As if we didnt already have a town full of people watching or animals in the background. When it comes to the creativeness of Capcom here, it is total CRAP! I expected to see some bad a** stages with some rain, darkness, thunder and lightning and what we get instead are some Lion King meets SF and they all lived happily ever after stages. I hope that this is not true and that there are still more stages to be revealed.
