Locked: wake up system fail

Ok, about the "baiting reversals thing". I was not talking about when you are the one knocked down. I was talking about when you knock them down. I believe Exogen was referring to the same.


As far as the balance goes, the characters that can't do invincible reversals have different range normals and other moves that balance them out in the neutral game, not in the wakeup game. You have to learn to play your character in a way they are able to be played... or invent a new way to play them. But you CANNOT learn to play them in a way they can never be used.


The game's designers meant for some characters to need to try to stay off the ground more than others. You chose one of those characters, as did Exogen. You need to do like he has and learn how to play your character, or find a character that plays the way you want to play. But asking for characters to be changed so they have everything you want in a character is not going to work well for you. :(

sorry not agree is got any way to play them,  if  all your attack are beat  on wake up and get extra free frame trap pressure on wake compare other character  ,you just dont have the option to conter attack  on wake up and huge vs frame trap  and is  just not fun because some character are just on the autopilot

I understand you disagree. I am saying you are better off choosing a different character, BECAUSE you disagree with the game's battle director. I want the game to have as many people playing it regularly as possible, and for that to happen, they must have fun. You will not have fun, with how you view the game and it's balance, unless you choose a character who "has the options you want". And I don't see them giving him too much in the future.


I do suspect he will get an invincible reversal that uses meter in the future, but not much more. That will not be enough to satisfy your personal needs, in this game, so I suggest you change characters. Good luck!

i guess the sell show am not the only one having issue on this game .and sf5 are very far of sf2 number for sell  , you look the top tier character in this game 80% are the one having wakeup option this show my point ,  first sf game some charater have any attack on wake up and if you watch pro fight most of the damage are from player trying to recover from wake up is so bad to watch lol , btw not really a fan of necalli ,i stick to my sf2 character ;)

ok let me try to explain,   character having any invincible frame ,are stock on wake up in the corner, any attack you will try on wake up will be beat and interrupt ,your opponent just have to spam 2 jab any  timing need  , so this type of character have less option on wake up because they can not attack and have no less option to break the pressure  .the only choice is only blocking  , go try in traning mode use alex birdie balrog ect ...  try any super move or ex move on wake up and just spam jab , takecare peace

You can't "jab jab" most supers on wakeup dude ... 



Stop posting BS and close the thread, enough with the jokes already ! 



Also it has already been proven that Birdie can break through that "poor man's pressure" on wakeup by using his VT EX BullHorn. It's not like you can be bullied all the time either, you don't spend your whole round on the floor. 



Also : characters that can use i-frames on wakeup, can end up losing about half of their life or more just by being baited once. Guarding is a smart choice sometimes.

I guess little kids 1) spell better than you, 2) can use a keyboard better than you do, 3) can easily see that spamming jabs against someone using a wakeup super is the best way to eat said super.



Get out of Bronze League and come back when you can write 2 sentences in a row that make sense.
