Anyone know if they will implement it? It shouldn't be too hard to implement since the firmware has been out for a while now.

Don't get me wrong  I love Capcom's music and the original music score but it would be nice to have the option.

i hope so. so far the music isnt very good. i wanted something more true to sf2 (ryus soundtrack was...epic), but hey, wishes dont always come true. loving the idea of listening to avenged sevenfold whilst playing Laughing

If you enjoy your games, my opinion really shouldn't bother you unless you have that niggling doubt in the back of your mind that is somewhat convincing you that you're not having as much fun as you should be - Toki.

I would also like this if they don't bring back the original themes for EVERY character.

It really doesn't have to be the same OST theme, it could be remixes, they should definitely try to make new songs for them with added parts from the originals, kinda like a remix.

The new songs are actually not that bad, specially in the temple stage. Just wish I knew whose stage that really is.

Alpha 3 had some kick **** themes.

You should  be saying "I"m happy it doesn't sound like Marvel Vs Capcom 2.

Sadly it sounds like Capcom Vs SNK1 or/and 2

...didnt play those games :P

lets just say sfa3 had a different ST than sf2. most of it is drums beats, which do not attract people like me. akumas stage was pretty good but thats about it.

I doubt it, only if CAPCOM is ahead of schedule. Or they make the PS3 the lead platform. Something EA has been doing as of late.

There better be a custom soundtrack option! Even if not everyone wants to use it, it should be there as an option for those who do want to make use of the feature.

I personally want it included since i'm not feeling the music in SFIV to tough. I liked the music in SF3 since i'm a big fan of Jazz (Akuma's stage music in 3rd Strike was sick) but it seems everything in SFIV seems aimed at SF2 players only so if the whole soundtrack turns out to be remixes of old tunes I'd like to be able to listen to something else.
