Capcom fighting against anime charas is kinda cheesy. They should choose other videogame companies instead. Look what happened to TvC, they cannot produce an English version because of the character licenses. Also, most of the charas are unfamiliar to us. Same goes to Shonen Jump. The characters are not only properties of Shonen Jump but other studios as well. So getting the licenses for these will be another problem.

Bleach vs Onimusha does not work out in anyway. It just seems too wierd. And Licensing... This is a major problem. As you can see, another game based on Shonen Jump (Jump Super/Ultimate Stars) was not released out of japan because of this issue. (Huh.. it would be quite intresting because I recall that capcom made games based off of Jojo's Bizzare adventure, which is a Shounen jump manga.) |

Capcom fighting against anime charas is kinda cheesy. Comic book characters aren't any better. It's the same thing with a different art style and country of origin if you ask me. Hell, it would be lot better than Tatsunoko with those really unknown characters for most people (including me). The only problem is that Capcom probably would make it a scrub friendly game for the sake of the shonen jump side fans that are only casual gamers. That list needs a Saint Seiya representative anyway.

I wouldn't mind seeing the characters from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure in another fighting game. But if I wanted to play a Shonen Jump game with a bunch of other series I don't give a crap about, I'd just get Jump Ultimate Stars off ebay. |

In a way capcom is doing this already with the tatsunoko vs capcom game. Any problems that game has like licensing would be the same with a shonen jump vs capcom. It's too bad capcom fighting all-stars was cancelled. Almost makes it sound like capcom has to merge with some other company. |

That's Some topic you got. Shonen Jump's Superstars aganist Capcom's Greatest Fighters, and that' a stupid thought becuase of It can't come to the U.S.? Yeah Linsence Issue is a Serious Thing, but aren't there people (Some of you) Of bitch about the US voices of the anime? and your worried about Licsence issuses? Sure it's a thought but a dude can dream can he? Weither it will happen or not It's not a bad idea so screw licsence issuses Capcom USA is already trying to bring Tatsunoko vs Capcom here. And let's see how that will pan out. |
