In term of "contest" from Capcom marketing team has been little flaky. For example, 1) The contest that having the fans send in pictures of their faces to be in the backgrounds on the game = Capcom has not release or announce the winners from that contest. 2) The insider cover art contest= Capcom has not release the winner 3) The raffle contest for the party launch= again Capcom didn't reveal the winner. Those are some of the few things I have noticed. Alot of new fans joined the forums for those contests, however, Capcom's marketing team kind of left the fans hanging. Maybe the team are too busy with other things, and perhaps too many fans send their stuff in, however, if Capcom started a contest, perhaps they should follow through and let the fans know whats going on next time. This is not a complaining, its just my what I have been noticing from the marketing team.

I can't believe that this hasn't been announced, and it's very disheartening to hear there's no sign of any artwork in the games that have already reached fans.....it did mention in the comp that the final image going into the box would be under capcoms sole discretion, so maybe for some reason they chose none of the entries, but they could at least let us know. I've seen a fantastic selection of entries over on Deviant Art, and as an entrant myself have been eagerly anticipating any sort of news. I would have though that they could leave it no longer than the 17th or 20th at latest to let us all know. Any prizes that are won at this rate are gonna be second copies coz most folks will already have the game. anyways, if u wanna check out some of my favourite entries hit the links below

@Stubbs as far as i now the monthly contest is still on becasue i send some art recently! As for the insider cover art i think it was something or some sort of a trick cuz there is this guy on youtube who is unwrapping the PS3 box and it was empty from the inside! maybe there were to many entries and capcom may have decided not to continue with it; who knows! Yeah I know the contest is back, I took part in it's return! =D Do you know if it was the Japanese version or the NA version? Cause I heard the Japanese version didn't have it.
Edit- I believe if you won the contest you would've known. Iirc, they said they would only email the winner, so it's an obvious indication that you didn't make it if you didn't get one. Sven said the winner was an excellent piece, so I've got my hopes up. Lets remember that WE don't know who won yet, so I'll just wait and see at this point.

I think this contest is not void. Someone posted photos from the SFIV launch event and there are open PS3 and 360 cases (along with the collector's edition) being exhibited. The photographer only took a shot of the front covers but a small detail on the inside cover reveals that the winning artwork has a white background and ink art style similar to SFIV. This is only a very small detail that I saw and I have no idea of what the artwork looks like and which character the artist illustrated. I also apologize for not posting a photo since I couldn't find them anymore :(

Well, that sucks...I just don't get why Capcom made a big announcement about it as a contest and then went completely silent about it til this day. The game is about to be out/is out already.
