By the way I've sent capcom.com a feedback saying I was very disapointed in the quality of this product, as for so many years Capcom has been synonimous to quality.... but for some strange reason they really messed that up with the PS3 release. Why would a company so prestigious release a game that buggy, it's a heck of a mistery. Blizzard wouldnt do such a thing for starters, maybe Capcom should send it's executives to Blizzard for some lessons in how to keep a healthy brand name. |

-Bug 1.
The Display Adjustment settings are very rarely saved. When changing the Display Adjustment settings (specifically, I'm making it smaller all around), it works fine for the duration of that session. But upon loading up the game again, the settings are usually NOT SAVED. There are two cases in where the previous session's settings get saved, but they are extremely rare, and one of them is odd. The first, is that it just works like it should and loads (again, extremely rare). The second, is it fails to load the settings from the last session, but when you go to the Settings menu, it automatically changes to the last session's altered settings. This second case is also extremely rare, and both are seemingly random. This is a huge pain for me, since before I play, I'm forced to shrink the screen considerably, nearly every time I start the game. Also, a suggestion I have, is to change the Display Adjustment screen. It should be one solid bright color. It's really stupid not being able to see the actual screen that you're trying to resize... -Bug 2. The Sound settings are rarely saved (kinda). This bug is pretty similar to the Display Adjustment bug, but has a key difference. It seems that if the settings aren't loaded upon running the game, when you go to the Settings page, they are automatically loaded every time. Obviously, this isn't working how it's supposed to, so it needs to be fixed. -Bug 3. Some sounds are randomly played louder than normal This is a pretty odd bug. It appears to happen when you change the game volume to lower than default. It seems that some character's voices get played at the Maximum volume level (or possibly just higher volume than the setting, I don't know if it's max) instead of what you have the game volume set to. I've noticed it with a lot of characters voices (doing special moves), but I believe the most prominent to be Dee Jay. I have my game volume set so it's audible, but much lower than the default. And when playing as/against Dee Jay, sometimes when he does a Max Out for instance, it's wayyyy louder than normal. |

I dunno if anyone has posted about this already, but a friend of mine ran into a bunch of bugs involving Guile's new Super motion. I bring this up just so people are aware of it and, maybe, others can disprove it or something. Everyone already knows that you can't buffer into the new Super Motion (well, sort of, apparently Desk did it in his Combo Video). But my friend was really curious as to... why? And as a result, he found some weird things. 1) Don't hold a button! The first weird thing he found was that, if you are holding down ANY button, the new Super motion becomes disabled. So if you hold down Jab, Strong, Roundhouse, Short, whatever... the new Super motion no longer works. You just get a normal Razor Kick. This MAY be why it's so hard to buffer into the new motion... because it's almost impossible NOT to be holding down a button by the time you finish the motion give how you have to buffer into Supers in Super Turbo's engine. But yeah, as long as you have any button held down, the new Super motion no longer works. Note: original Super code STILL WORKS when any button is held down. 2) What Negative Edge? This may be related to the bug above, but, no, you can not perform the Super with the new motion using Negative Edge. So letting go of the button will NOT activate the super at all. In other words, when you piano it when you get up, you actually aren't getting the extra inputs and, if you accidentally hit one button too early, the other two presses probably don't register at all for the Super... just for regular Razor Kicks. Again, the original Super code works fine with Negative Edge. 3) But what IS the original code? So, unlike what most people know, the ACTUAL code for Guile's Super in vanilla ST, broken down ONLY to its required inputs, is Charge straight Down, Towards, Back, Up + Kick. Oddly, even though the original code is supposed to still work, it doesn't... Doing the minimum code of charge D, T, B, U + Kick no longer works. The old code seems to be broken. You can still do the Super with the charge DB, DF, DB, U + Kick, but apparently, the diagonal inputs are required now. I did try charging DB and then doing T, B, U + Kick and that, also, does NOT work anymore. I switched to Classic Mode and was able to do the original minimum code like 10 times in a row without missing once. The weirdest thing about THIS bug is that when you do the original code, you'd think you'd get a Flash Kick or a Jump straight up Kick. But instead, Guile almost... like... blanks out for a second. Many times, I get a grounded Kick even though I'm hitting Up + Kick. Sometimes, I DO jump straight up but... nothing happens! Hitting kick doesn't result in me kicking at all. So it's odd... it's like one input gets eaten up or something. And regardless of how fast you do it, he NEVER Razor Kicks, which is what you'd think would happen most of the time. * * * * * * It's not a HUGE problem, but it's just odd that there are so many problems associated with this code. If a patch is ever released for this game, hopefully this gets fixed. - James |

E.honda thousand hand slaps has active hitboxes behind him and sometimes when I've jumped over him to dodge the slaps I get hit behind. Same thing goes for Chun - Li's lighting legs, hitboxes behind. Also this just happened recently. I was playing Akuma in ranked match against Dhalsim and I was already mid jump when he does his super. To make this clear and am CLEARLY jumping over him and his super is in no way near me at all. Once again I jump over him and land on the opposite side where dhalsim is still doing the super in the other direction. I go for c.short xx hadouken and I GET HIT WITH FIRE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE!!! No joke. |

My Wins/Losses have been reset. I had 2600 wins, and at 2600 wins, my wins and losses have been reset to 0. Is this as designed or is this a bug? |

I've had alot of the glitches mentioned by the SRK. The electrical gfx glitch, Blacked out background with the characters still visible, music cutting off early. I don't know if this has been mentioned before but from what I've read on gamefaqs.com forum for this game on the ps3 the rankings/rating for scoreboard matches are broken/glitched/bugged. They say there is a random bug that will reset your rating to 0 and you will never be able to go up again dispite winning or losing. I feel this has affected me Seeing as how a few weeks ago I was up in the 4k rankings. It then dropped to the 30k area like 2days ago. Today I play it since then and I check my rank/rating first it is now at 50k! Without me having lost or won anything I have dropped 20k! It's even more noticeable as you have to wonder how a person with a 20-0 ratio is out ranked by a person with 3-17. |
