From what I have been reading on the srk forums by unbiased people who own both consoles they are abandoning the PS3 version to play it on the 360. Reason sited are glitches and bugs, more lag, more disconnects. They say the game feels how it did during the 360 beta and at this point the 360 version plays far superior online.
Can we assume this will be patched? Because it evident that there is a problem here... |

Holding Capcom fully responsible for this is a must. Back then I kept telling them to do a rightful beta for the ps3 version and look how it all turns out now. I mean the game plays nicely, but the lag from round to round(specially when loading up a new a round) can be annoying.
Sad, I don't have a 360, but based on what you guys are saying this seems to be the case. Still love the game though, it's a lot of fun.

Seeing as the 360 had all those months of beta testing and the ps3 didn't I guesed it would work better from day one. Expect the usual waves of patches...

Yeah I'm pretty disapointed myself. This alongside no release date for europe is rapidly shrinking our PSN userbase for HD. |

Evident I have friends who stopped playing it after an hour or so(for a new game that's no good)
Sadly this kind of thing has a trickle down effect, only the hardcore will stay around or buy it(and the super hardcore are always a small number)

The 360 has a fair few bugs though which is crazy when you think of how long this game has been in development and with all the months and months of beta testing? ...thankfully (in comparison) every game ive played online on my 360 has worked without any noticeable lag and hasn't disconected once yet though. I just hope the SFIV joypads are good though as I'm not a big fan of my ex2 fighting stick (an the standard 360 pad is a joke). I'm sure all the bugs will get ironed out eventualy though.

All bugs will be fixed like always lol. Xbox controller hurts your hands and doesn't respond sometimes. I hate that controller. O noticed less bugs on the 360 but yeah, they had the beta of course. Both versions are far from broken. So either way, you win! Play both hehe.

Well I won't let this hamper my experience but I really hope they patch it up because that wiull weigh heavily on my purchse of SF IV. I bought a PS3 for fighting games specifically now I'm wondering if I made the right choice. |
