lol, "DR Jam"

I'm always up for a fight.

It's important for some, but it should be adressed with such concern. I ain't saying that I'm on my best game, I'm still rusty, but I will adapt to your style.

Oh, and if I end up rocking YOUR world, it's ok. I ain't gonna talk smack. It's not my type. I might laugh though.

Oh, how about if you kick my butt too hard, you let me host you a few matches in UMK3 over XBL as well? Alright?

If you send anything, make sure you mention SF2 or something, I hate annonymous invites.

Yeah, 7.5 for the 360 version seems about right.  6.5 for the PSN version would be more appropriate (no dolby digital, no trophies)

Though it doesn't affect gameplay that much, they did promised the old version along with the new, and that's not what they delivered.  The new sprites are pretty good, but they lack the "roughness" of the original game (the originaL sprites UDON had planned were more inline with the classic sprites).

The start screen is bland, the original animation is not there even for classic mode, and the endings are in low resolution, very annoying.

I purchased it for the nostalgia factor and I'm sure I'll get a lot of play out of it.  However I still think the game feels rushed and unpolished.  Compared to the value delivered by Capcom's last remake (Bionic Commando Rearmed) SSF2THDR it's definitely not worth its $15 price tag.

I think saying it's not worth 15 dollars is rough. It's by far the best XBLA/PSN game out. It plays well and your arguments against it take nothing away from the game play. How can you be mad cause they didn't give you TWO games in one? The new stuff works fine, so I think complaining about the little things it taking away from the big picture of how this game owns.

Just get used to it, and stop whining already! The problem is YOU not ADAPTING to the controller. Some people prefer the PS3 controller for SF other the X360, and others the Arcade sticks. (Have you tried the analog sticks? sometimes they are very precise and responsive as well--but then again, you'd have to get used to it.)

I personally prefer controllers in genral over Arcade sticks because that's how I learned to master SF2 (back then on the SNES). So when I go to the arcades, in my school (UoH), and I lose because my left hand is not as quick and precise as my thumb, I don't go all out blaming on the quality of the game itself, or Capcom.

Heh, dunno if I'd suggest the analog stick. I use it right now for HD Remix, because I have no other choice. The 360 d-pad is blah, and I'm a bit familiar with the analog stick from using it on Capcom vs SNK 2 for Xbox 1. My analog grip is rubbed down a bit though, from damn Call of Duty and the analog button running. I know I should have tried changing the defaults for that damn game. Now I'm use to the analog breaker controls for COD4/5. I do think a good quality d-pad beats out the analog stick overall though, no matter how good you get with it. And then a quality arcade stick will usually beat both of those usually.

Where's those stinking SFIV Fightstick specs already?

9.9/10 for me.

the online play is really good on xbox live. and i love the art. udon makes some of the best street fighter art and it shows through this game.

i really don't understand how any street fighter fan can give this game any lower than a 9. that's just me though, everyone has their opinions.

I would give it an 9/10. Art is all great. Won't give it a full 10 though for the following.

Announcer is a bit too loud compared to rest of sounds.

What happened to assigning L3 & R3 on the PS3 controller?????? R3 was my perfect "short" button.

Screen seems to be slightly cropped at the edges or not fitted properly to widescreen TV's.

Probably a couple of other things but i guess i can't remember now. LOL.

Cheers Capcom. Next time get it sorted a bit quicker though! Laughing

9.5/10

This game has far too much time effort gone into it. Art is so good all I can do is stare at it. Control leaps and bounds better than any past street fighter on the 360. Music sweet music love it makes the game fresh and clean. Everything is swell and dandy except....... NO bonus stages? Where did they go? That makes me very sad, bonus stages are still a huge part of street fighter. The best thing about all our complaints is DLC can come along and fix everything. I will pay 8 more dollars for bonus stages. Almost a 10 it is very clear this game was made for COMP.

Thank You Capcom for a wonderful remix.
