Interesting. I got the green controller a few weeks ago for SFIV because it was said to be a limited edition and I didn't want to miss out on it.
In my experience it is actually worst than the original 360 controller. I like the Hori pad much better.
Though it may need some getting used to I think that a D-pad with more directions is the opposite thing you'd need for a game programmed for 4 directions. |

it certainly worked fro me.. 10/10! ive used countless controllers on just about every system for street fighter games. i reckon the green contorller is the BEST of the lot. im totally competent and confident with this d'pad..
i know what you say about 8 or 16 directions.. but it works very well, you would never know when using it, other than your specials are more consistent.. |

I dunno, I find square gates to be the more precise, especially with diagonals.
I support a new (or remixed) Darkstalkers game!

Yeah, I just got a Hori EX 2 for 360 Friday, and it works fine for me. Sometimes I don't get quick consecutive fireballs, but it's more about me getting use to an arcade stick again, and to the ball-tip, I always loved the old American style bat-tip sticks.

My best controller is the one I made :) I also prefer the bat style top. I can't stand the ball. |

I can't stand octo gates... It all comes down to personal preference. Grats on finding something that works for you.

Hey SHARK! The Green controller you are speaking of is the extremely rare controller that come out with PES 2009 (Pro Evolution Soccer) and is “a limited edition promotional item that is only available in Europe, Asia and Latin America while supplies last.” . So consider yourself a very lucky individual-as for the poor schmuk that bought the US green controller I apologize for rushing out and buying it with investigating the facts first. Try not and mislead people like that; it's not cool. Also what isn't cool is that fact that Microsoft .."has no current plans to make this a permanent change"! |

I solved this problem by using the USB Saturn pad on my PS3.
Now THAT is hands-down the best fighting controller ever crafted. |
