that guy cracked me up back when i was just a spectator. too bad he got banned for cracking a joke, huh. pretty ridiculous since jonny spammed to the high heavens before getting banned.

I preordered sf4 CE at EB games and they said I'll get it on Feburary 18, one day after everyone else. I also asked them if I get the headband at least, and they didn't know anything about it.

...When you guys get it what will you do first, watch the prolouge movie, or play the game. It's a hard decision.

I pre-ordered my copy of the 360 CE just now. I don't know what all the complaining is about, I'm stoked for the CE. I like listening to game music, so it'll be cool to have the soundtrack. As for the figure, truth be told, I would have rather had a classic character (E. Honda would be my first choice). However, I think the C. Viper fig looks cool and  it'll defintely go on my desk at work. I'm also stoked for the movie, strategy guide and DLC. I think this one of the nicest collector's editions released in the US for any game in a long time, February can't get here fast enough, as far as I'm concerned.

I assume it costs cheaper to make the same cover for all countries. Even though it will be a limited number, I don't think it will be as rare as your 3S Limited Edition.

Yes, guess you are right. Today's C.E.s are not these great collector's items as they used to be years ago. Nowadays the C.E.s are produced in such great number that they often are as 'rare' as the regular editions.

And as they are not even restricted to a certain country (like the 3rd Strike L.E. was) but are released across several countries in nearly the same form instead (like the SF IV C.E.), there is nearly no added value in collecting different countries C.E.s.

It's sad somehow to see that the companies are not willing to change that. Some strictly limited sets would also be a great promotion for a certain product - just look at the Mega Man 9 press kits (by the way I am still waiting for my order to be filled ). Suddenly everyone knew the game even if he/she had never heard the name Mega Man before.

Right now it seems that the SFIV T.E. FightStick will be more of a rare collectible item than the SFIV C.E. itself. It's sold out/pre-orders have been stopped nearly everywhere and at the UK MadCatz-Store people where even willing to pay £150 for it (which is more that $215) - after 15 minutes no more orders could be taken.

Glad I was able to order one right on time (even though I must admit that in the case of SFIV I'll probably use the pad more often than the stick - nevertheless, I hope it can/will be delivered). :-)
