Could someone spoil what's the result of Guile's fight? I hope he wins against Cammy... Do we see Vega a lot? Why is there Dee Jay on the cover, do we see him in this issue ??? Would be great! Thanks guys! |

we see Vega boast, then get beaten by Ken, then go nuts, then get sat on by Honda. Dee Jay, you see his face on a screen,but other wise no. I have concluded the Udon Artists when it comes to multiple covers don't always use characters actually in an issue for whose on the cover, which is kind-of a tease, during the original 6 issues of Darkstalkers we saw Hsien-Ko, Q-Bee, and Lilith on the covers but aside from a brief cameo in issue 1 for Hsien-ko thanks to the man I personally named "Captain Exposition" and the Trade Paper Back backstory for Morrigan having a cameo for Lilith, we never saw these characters, and Q-bee never showed up. But I hear she's in the new ones. |

Just a couple of thoughts:
- ...HOLY CRAP, it is Dr. Wily, though in SF form! - I don't think Cody is more powerful than Ryu, mainly b/c Cody never beat Ryu when they met one another in SFII Turbo #7. It was a cool match to be sure, seeing these main characters face off. But Ryu did win, though he had to go in Dark Hadou mode to do it.
- Really liked that Vega fight, mainly b/c it was the resolution of something elements which have been building for several yrs. It felt nice to see both Ken and Honda resolve that conflict with Vega. Furthemore, I must say the Ken/Vega match was exciting. Vega flipping out of the way of the Tatsumaki Sempu Kyaku was game! However, this somewhat brings me to the point I made in my previous post about the brevity of the other matches. Indeed, b/c they were so short, we didn't get to see some iconic moves, esp. in Ryu's matches. Honda didn't do his Hundred Hand Slap, nor did Fei Long perform the Rising Dragon Kick. In matches like these, I really wanted to see all stops pulled and fighters going to their extremes, which unfortunately, didn't happen. - Y'know, the possible Cammy/Ryu pairing against Bison has a definite poetry to it. Indeed, throughout UDON's SF series, the person who's had the most story aside from Ryu has been Cammy. Thus, the match would be the culmination of the characters w/ the most development. |

A most unexpected team-up, I should say. I wish they didn't focus on Cammy so much, but this gives me more hope of a possible team-up between Alex and everyone who fought Gill in SFIII! Alex and Ibuki FTW!!!!!

Why stop there? Like Matt says, any important SF character is fair game. I can't be the only one who wants something like this to happen.

Cody beat ryu with a crimminal uppercut as he was about to take the envelope from ryu while he was knocked, but eventually the dark hadou awaken him and beat the crap out of cody think wha i was saying. if ryu never had a dar power cody would of won and take the envelope head to the SF Tournament. and all the street fighters would be shocked to wonder were is ryu |

Matt, I know the comic series isn't part of the actual continuity, but if you plan on using Final Fight characters for more issues, especially Hugo, could you guys PLEASE make it clear somehow that Poison's a dude? I'm getting sick of these fanboys that continue to deny this fact, even after Ono said it himself.

When does Street Fighter vol.5 trade book come out? On UDON it was a schedule for an October 2009. It will have SF2 Turbo #1-6 in it. The book is in customs right now, if all goes ell be can get SF Vol.5 TPB and Chun-li TPB in stores Nov 18. Worst case, Nov 25th. Will we see more about Dee Jay and T.Hawk since they're featured in SS4 ? The cover of SS2 Turbo # 9 looks awesome! Since there's Dee Jay and Blanka on the cover, do they appear in this issue? As you know by now, no they don’t have a major part this issue. They actually were meant to be in it originally but due to some plot shifting their fights end up in the previous issue. Just one of the snags with covers having to be made in advance. Udon Question: I am hearing people talk about the Darkstalkers comic coming back in two months. Can we get a confirmation on this? is it really coming back? only two months or later? Yup, The new Darkstalkers series starts in January! Jsut waiting for Capcom’s official approval to send out a full press release.
