You guys are lucky its 3 rounds. On the ps3 version its only two for ranked, I wish they'd change it to 3 though.

If you lose to a gief player cause you don't know what to do he did not get lucky. You just lost!!! You can't say things like "if you only had just one more round" cause you don't at least not this match.

Saying things like I could not figure out what he was doing. Just means he deserved to win. Just cause you never seen it before does not mean anything.

And don't forget you have just the same advantage and disadvage in this area as the person playing you. You want them to know as little as they can about the way you play. Adaption is a skill it is not the same as skill and not one to rely on cause good players and better players play diffrent.

A baseball playoff game (Divisional game) is 3 out of five, Hockey and basketball used to be 3 out of 5 as well (and have since changed it, to a 7 game series).

My point is even though a 2 out of 3 match is quicker, 5 round match is actually official in Japan and is more of a true match "playoff". A true competitor will accpet the extra round. It may give the weaker player some extra needed help but yet again, a "true competitor" will never back down or complain about an extra round--also if you are good enough; it shouldn't even make a difference.
