yo, if you have played thirdstrike you know that the identity of Q is unknown, therefore if capcom tried, I feel they could somehow reveal the identity of Q without destroying his represented image in 3rd Strike. Also, do we want him as a chartacter in streetfighter 4?

I know I don't. For me, as neat as a detective style robot character might be, it's one of those prime examples of SFIII making a bizarre detour from what made Street Fighter's characters so memorable in the first place.

It could be fun to see him included in some sort of adventure spin-off, or even as a background character, but I'd just as soon forget him, as see him in those capacities.

I think any reveal that pulls a switcheroo to say he isn't mechanized is just going to be a cop-out, not that I want android/cyborgs in SF. Best case scenario, maybe finding out he's somehow tied to a new Shadaloo boss, drawing on the surprisingly popular fan claim for him to be a 'monitor cyborg'; ala the SFII movie...

I'd much rather see Street Fighter get back to characters built from martial arts and national traditions from around the globe.

Maybe a link-in to another character would be cool, like very ambiguous too. Most of Q's character was actually based off of Q's mystery and not his weirdness like some other SFIII characters. He'd lose a small aspect about him if you told tooo much

Despite how he acts, Q is not a robot.

I like Q; gotta love the trench coat. :)  I'd love to see him connected if not playable in SF4.  Didn't they say he saw Shadaloo/law fall?  Hey, hehe, maybe he's Balrog!

I have always imagined Q to be a previous Street Fighter. One that was known but had become confused since the previous battles; perhaps something traumatic.

It could be Vega (Bison/The Dictator) in the wake of Akuma's assault.

We don't know that Q is not a robot. You can see skin underneath his mask (chin and neck area), but that means nothing, he could easily be an android (think Bishop from Aliens). Also, if you notice when time runs out and Q loses, he "breaks down". When he is shocked he reveals muscle, not a human skeleton like all the other characters in the game (except twelve). I love Q and he is one of my 3 mains in 3S, but, he really has no place being in this game =/

Q should be a direct clone of Bison in disguise. Since Akuma killed him, there is no way he should be revived like the old Bison, he should somewhat be an underdog.

Most likely Q is to Balrog what Remy is to Guile, and like Remy he will never be explained because there's no need to. :(

Dudley is to Balrog not Q. Unless your talking about Vega aka Balrog in Japan.
