A very nice idea, I highly doubt it would ever happen, too much market saturation, I do like the layout of it all though.
I would really like an A4 (taking the best from the Alpha series) as a Digital game only? (A la HDR) 2D all the way....
I can dream.....
Thank you I'm honored.
I totally understand that is your first reaction. But as you probably know a Final Fight game can drop about at the same time (even with only a month in between) as a Street Fighter game and still do well and with enough cross reference it will actually do better, as both boost sales as it raises interest for the other title. Besides that point with different type of games, with the same type of games there is a similar system that can be used:
Now instead of flooding the market we will try to build a wave and ride it for a long time as you keep adding power to it. The sales principal of building momentum peeking more interest with each new product. If you do not know it, it's similar to what happened with your reply to my post, a wave was created and the ones behind it started riding it, instead of thinking it was enough that you said it, they felt pulled in and wanted to join the movement. With the games obviously because we add a trailer (as well as a small playable teaser) of the next new game, this causes players who bought the first game to immediately start wondering about that game straight after buying the first product (this principle is used on the further titles as well). They will expect to see the same style and for example same sprites etc. straight of the bat, because those were used in the trailers. Using the coupon principle the gamer will actually benefit from buying all the products. If you have all the products you will be granted access to a special feature in both the Street Fighter Alpha Complete and Final Fight Rebirth games. This last feature will help, selling all the games even to those who jumped on board later whatever is the lastest release at that point.
There is no way around it, a game you play for hours and hours often more than 100 hours is worth extra cash even for the smallest update (for example WoW), let alone a complete new game. Besides the release schedule will be adaptive keeping a close ear and eye to the street and hit when the market is ready, and hit hard when it is, building the wave with each product.
Some Classics: SFA3 Max, SFIII 3rd Strike.
Classic: An artistic work of lasting worth exhibiting timeless quality.
I like the idea of an alpha complete. I've wanted to play a street fighter game similar to UMK where you have all the different incarnations of each character ever in the series with some balance options. also wanted a remastered SF1.
omg seriously no more ****ing alpha i love the series but no more, it pissed me off how capcom DIDNT continue the story after 10 ****ing years, and it would piss me off even more if they still didnt continue it cause they were side tracked with this unnecessary project. Flame me all you want Alpha fans but its the truth. Alpha's dead alpha is gone. Get used to it. Enjoy what capcom realeased for it when it was there main focus.

I thought Street Fighter 3 was being made simultaniously. There was never an exact focus on either.
I'm not talking about back then I'm talking about NOW. Im positive im not the only person who doesent want to wait ANOTHER 10 years to find out what happend after III, all because Capcom felt like we the fans wanted to know how just how Dee Jay found his maracas and entered the II world tour.
