Like many of you, I too have seeen the new console game footage from seth's new interview from 1up.com

Plenty of people have been discussing, and many of us do not like the new voices compared to the original japanese ones found in the arcade version.  Rumor has it that only the american voices will be available in the NTSC-U (american) version of the game, and that we won't have the option to be able to choose.  Size shouldn't be a deciding factor here because there is plenty of room on the ps3 blu ray disc or the 360 dvd to fit both voices and give gamers the ability to choose.  To some this may be a small change, but to many, the new voices overall just ruin the feel of the game.  Let capcom know that we DO care!  Whether you like the new voices or not, it doesn't matter, FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE!!

Personally I don't mind the US voices, but anyways, this has been discussed before and it seems that they infact are having options to have an option to switch back between the two.  Even it was rumored that individual vocal settings could be applied.

I have no issue with it, if that rumor was true. I'm for the gameplay itself. I just can't seem to get why certain voices are a big deal to have in order for to determine the worth of the entire game.

Yes. I agree.

For the most part (not always) English dubbed things do tend to have that quality that most Japanese voiced characters give. This is most apparent in anime series (duh), Mega Man games, Onimusha games, and others.

But some Japan-developed games have better voices in English. This includes (but not only)...Devil May Cry (hm, is there a Japanese voice for Dante?) and Kingdom Hearts.

But yea. Street Fighter has always been in Japanese. I'm sure that in-game, they'll use the Japanese or whatever they've been using. So like Ryu would say "Hadouken!" instead of like "Surge Fist!"...But I'm assuming that the English dubbing would be used in like other parts like before-battle quick liners, cutscenes, etc.

I'm sure that Capcom (given that they apparently listen to their fans and I assume read a lot of these posts), will include an option for Japanese voices and English voices. I mean it's the "HD" era and things like that should be expected these days for most (if not all) entertainment releated things like video games, movies, etc.

I've heard no rumors about it being English only.

Everything that's been stated about the voices makes it seem as if there will be the option to choose between both sets of voices. It was even stated that they wanted to allow players the ability to toggle individual voices between Japanese and English, and given that they were thinking about taking it that far, it would seem really odd if it were English only.
