Following the FFstorylines. Both men meet in Metro city fought each other drawed, in the ending of FF1 Guy jumped in front of Cody and beat him up so he'd stay with his girlfriend Jessica. 2nd encounter in Alpha3 we dunno if this is another stand still fight, but in Guy's storyline he does beat Cody, while in Cody's storyline both fought and Cody beats Guy and both goes and destroys Bison headquarters. FFSW Guy became a Yakuza and Cody took the blame for Guy and the that was there last meeting, both are still friends, seeing Kyle be-friended Hagar and Guy.

capcom america got the final fight license and made a new game called final fight streetwise in year 2005


It did bad in the market.  It was never sold in japan and few copies released in america. 


Capcom america still holds the final fight license to this day.




While I appreciate you responding, I was following up on my earlier statement "let's forget that game ever existed".




That is a game that exists the only way this game can never be a part of FinalFight's cannon is that for Capcom to recton the events before FFSW happens, which we need a new FF game.

In my opinion it could be a toss up 50/50. Cody could win because of the fact that he fights dirty (and that's what street fighting is about anyway, there's no rules). Guy could win as well because of his speed and combos.

Most matches in SFA3 Guy has more wins over Cody. Though in cannon storyline they're pretty much tied.

Who will win between cody and guy?  We will find out seeing as they are in super street fighter 4.


I hope cody and guy have enough ability to make them one of the top tier characters in competition.
