Thought so. So please don't come in here telling us what to expect when early details haven't even been officially presented in English yet. Sure, it's what we can call a sequel to MvC2, but only because this is probably the only thing they plan to give us...
I don't follow this line of thinking.
I especially don't see how "officially presented in english yet" is relevant. What, you think no one outside of Japan can read Japanese? Besides, it's highly likely (though not impossible) this won't see the light of day in english.
The game IS the next in the X vs. Capcom series. For one thing, look at the pattern:
MvC1: Clash of Heroes MvC2: New Age of Heroes TvC: Cross Generation of Heroes
Then there's the fact that when the game was revealed in Famitsu, they made it a point to list the previous games in the series (XSF, MSF, MvC1, MvC2) alongside it. Just because you can't read doesn't mean it's not true.
The cast lineup was merely speculation, based on observation and common sense.
FYI, Neon Genesis Evangelion was done by Gainax and Tatsunoko.
I want Darkstalkers! I want Power Stone characters! I want Poison! I want lots of obscure/unknown characters on Capcom's side!! And I want to see some Samurai Pizza Cats, and I want some Rei or Asuka!!!

I definitely AGREED that is is the next in the series. Who's not reading now? And most people outside Japan who don't live in California can't read Japanese, if we pay attention to the vast majority...
