This past weekend i went to a Usc SF4 tourney and it was pretty fun. Brought my setup and got free pizza and a coke lol. Anyway got to catch up with some folks that i've got to befriend from Shgl's weekly weds hosted by the legendary sf player Alex Valle. Brought a couple buddies of mine, two of which placed higher then me, since i gave up my main Ken to level up my Viper which has progressively gotten better. I think after Barfights alot of Socal players took to heart that we need to play against each other more often and share strats on how to get better. There's some new up and coming players that are bringing the socal scene back up to par in addition to the ogs that are still holding it down. Here's the results to the tourney...

 The tourney started, late lol 6pm start. Anyhow UGTL is a company based here in la that hold gaming tournies while also implementing music and art in there events which is pretty f'n genius might i add. I got to see the usual top SoCal players Alex Valle, Gootecks, Mike Ross and Empire Arcadia's Sabin whos pretty deadly with Seth. I got to buy some clear buttons and a clear balltop for my TE stick so it'll definetly be pimped out, I'm excited.  So i entered the tourney under my srk name "Strider86" and my first match was against a gief player, while i used ken. I pretty much kept gief out of grabbing distance and punished him with step kick two in one hado all day.. got knocked down to losers buy a Viper player, lol on the verge of getting perfected i corner pressured him and missed the tatsu link argh couldve stayed in winners. Last match i owned an Abel player for free haha and got him to hit the start button the first set. Then lost the last set of matches to COD which is funny cause i've been looking to play Abel but i didn't know how to fight him. hahah
