So the "BIG" update is coming to XBOX LIVE very soon and it looks like our GAMERCARDS are getting replaced with the AVATARS for the new dashboard system (Hope this doesn't mean all the GAMERPICS we bought are now totally useless) The update will probably have happened before HD REMIX arrives and I have a few of ideas for the new system .

1:  Have CAPCOM got any plans to release any Street Fighter 2 character skins for our AVATARS in place of pictures ? This would be VERY COOL !

2: What about T-Shirts for the AVATARS with game company logos or classic CAPCOM game characters printed on them ?

3: Will the AVATARS be used in the HD REMIX lobbys in the game ?

4: One way to still make use of your GAMERPICS would be to let you get  plain T-Shirts in any colour for your AVATARS and then display your pics on these .

Anybody else got ideas on this subject ?

this is awful.  Microsoft should stop copying of the Wii's stupid "Miis"   they better allow us to stick to Gamerpics,  because many people have already spent "REAL" money on gamerpics.

plus some prefer using the camera to make their own custom gamerpic. 

yeah Microsoft had no good reason to add "avatars", but above all they better be completely optional.

Yes I think they should be optional too (but probably won't be) Not sure if I like the look of them either they are too cute looking for a start .They all seem to look pretty similar to me hope you can change their look a bit more than what we have seen so far . I think GAMERPICS should remain in use in some way as like Saner said we paid our own money for them and I think we have become quite attached to our GAMERCARDS as they are (sad but true) also its more iconic when you see a name pop up on your screen and a little picture I think it adds a bit of mystery to who your opponent is .  You don't want to see some smiley faced "DUDE" waving at you in the corner of the screen while you are immersed in a game of COD or GEARS for example, It doesn't really fit in with the a lot of games style or setting does it . 

This reminds you of Miis on the Wii? To be honest, it reminded me more of the PS3 "Home", only... it actually exists, and is going to come out some time in this reality. 8D
