at 2:30 he talks about it! This is exciting!!!!! It's gotta be a October release!! ^__________^ And it would be good timing too. cause beta ends sept.5 which means the rest of the month could be used to polish up the final touches and voila! release in October~! unless Capcom is scheming to compete with Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge and Golden Axe in November >.>
wow the poor UDON guy sounded like he was gonna pass out when he started to explain HD Remix subject. his stress levels seemed like they were burning hot, like he just had a 12 hour game of volleyball. or just finished 82 graphic novels. |

unfortunately, at the time you submit a title to microsoft for certification and release, it takes atleast 2 months, guaranteed. If the beta doesnt end til sept 5th, that will be atleast nov 5th. But thats being terribly optimistic. Cuz when the beta ends, they have to gather up the remaining bug reports, and squash them. That could take a few weeks into itself. So right now, it's looking like a december release, IMO |

well they have already squashed the bugs that are present in the beta. I'm sure they can finalize it sometime September and secure no later than a November release.
but if HD Remix isnt out by December.....man then looks like I'll have to invest in a few games in the meantime. possibly SR2 in october. and something else in november. |

I don't see how it would take two months to meet microsofts certification standards, seems a bit much considering the game will already have been throuh a beta test and if it is to be a late Noverber/December release it may be seen as too close to a SFIV release for the mass market and miss out on possible sales.Either way all street fighter fans will get it but if the price is higher than a standard xbla game and in competition with retail releases around that time of the year there's no doubt it'll suffer. |

The guys at Behemoth posted when their Castle Crashers game was done, which was May 16th. The game is not out on XBLA until August 27th. As Sven has mentioned in a recent Capcom blog post about publishing downloadable titles, the process to ensure that the game is ready for digital distribution is a long one. Considering that the beta is not done until September 5th, and assuming Backbone puts in two more weeks of development to iron out any last-minute bugs, we probably won't see the game until December (unless Microsoft fast-tracks the title). |

blagdhalla: like cow said. but also, during this process, once MS approves the product to be released, it then goes into a release QUEUE. Remember, MS only released roughly one xbl title a week. And you never know how many titles will be queued up in the list before HD.
There are a lot of factors that people don't consider when it comes to this market. It sucks that it's like this, but it's the nature of the beast, unfortunately |

as far as i'm concerned the release of this game has been dragged out far too long. By the time it is released, it wont be long till SFIV and so i've lost alot of interest in the project. Ah well ill prolly still buy it when its released anyway hehe |

plus we are still in August, you'd be surprised how fast those teams can progress. I remember in the Hyper Fighting blog, they said every day they came up with a new build, and it got better and better in a short span of time. for a first Street Fighter XBLA game, it has really good online play, I still play it now and then.
