The announcer is so much better too!

players who returned from tournament said things like:

"Game is incredible."

"Had a lot of fun, Thanks Gamespot, Backbone, and Capcom. The game will be great"

ok well the game is going to be fabulous everyone knows it....but I dont like fat sagat or any fat characters he should have been slimmer....same probably with ken and ryu......and I really dont liek the trajectory for chun lis SBK well as long as we can have the original trajectory with a lgihter kick or soemthing then it should be ok...all in all I will still buy the game...and good job finally postign something new FINALLY!!!

Chun Li has her original "air" version of her Hyper Fighting SBK trajectory (charge Back, then press Up/forward

instead of forward.    you can't use down/back for this since that would trigger her anti-air rising kicks special.)

anyways that player using her was inexperienced with the new changes.  He only used the Kikoken fireball ONCE.  and didn't use the vertical kicks anti-air at all.  And looked like they were just showing off her new SBK, and they definitely didn't know about her other SBK variant I mentioned.

and
Sagat is not fat.  they are just huge in a diesel and buff way. They really
made them look strong as they should be.

Insomnotek is a cool guy, I met him at EVO and at Super Arcade a few years ago.  He's not "dumb"  I'm sure he was just messing around with the new spinning bird kick.

yeah I meant no harm, from the amount of SBK spamming in the video, it was clear they were simply demonstrating that new move she has.  So that's okay.

It's too bad they didn't do the alternate version of that move that was confirmed to be the Hyper Fighting version of her air SBK.   Laughing

oh wait someone went more in-depth with how it works:

"""ere's more detail on Chun's SBK that I'm not sure was pointed out:

- As you know b,f+k does the SBK+arc
- b,f+k in the air does a  horizontal one in the air

Also,

- db, uf+k will do a horizontal one in the air going forward. You can
sort of control the height of this by when you press kick. With quick
timing this can be done close to the ground.

- df, ub+k will do a horizontal one in the air going backward. You can
sort of control the height of this by when you press kick. With quick
timing this can be done close to the ground.

- db, u+k if timed right will do a horizontal SBK that only travels a
few steps. I guess this can be used as an way over projectiles. You can
sort of control the height of this by when you press kick. With quick
timing this can be done close to the ground. The movement is very
similar to her up kicks, and I'm sure the wrong move will come out
sometimes. Essentially, the timing for this is done by pressing K just
after you press up, rather than at the same time for the up kicks.

I'm not sure if these abilities were intentional design or a result of
giving her a horizontal on in the air, but it works out as they don't
seem dangerous.

Hmmm that last input mentioned sounds very similar to up-kicks.  I'm sure it'll be easy to do it with a little practice though..  At first I was thinking:  "What if you want to do up-kicks out of a defensive crouch?"  Interesting......

Thanks for the links to the videos. The game really looks great and Sagat sure is chunky. I guess since he's always been an intimidating figure, the size definitely fits his image. Quite literally this time.

Looking forward to the release and seeing all the stages, music, and characters!
