It makes no sense to limit this game's appeal by releasing it only on the Wii.

Capcom is neglecting its main demographic by putting this game out only on the Wii. While Nintendo fanboys will argue this point with me, the Wii just does not have the core audience for this kind of game in America. It is a 2D style fighting game and the Wii just doesn't have the hardcore crowd covered. It doesn't support online gameplay, it doesn't have have a good control scheme (the Hori stick isn't being made anymore), and the system is geared toward kids and parents. If only Capcom would put the game on the other systems too at least the game would reach the hardcore fighting crowd. This move just doens't make much sense. It seems like a great game but I don't see it reaching its potential success by being an exclusive on the Wii.

I'd love to see this on any other system- PS3 especially.  Considering it's originally a Wii title, I imagine that it'd take a lot more work to make it a full disc-based release.  If it was released as a downloadable title, however, that'd make more sense.   That's provided Nintendo doesn't have some kind of unseen death-grip on the game's licensing...

Write up a petition and quickly I'll sign it, but since there's actually useable controller support, I'll submit to Capcom's will on this one.  The only games I'm currently looking forward to for my Wii are this one, the Capcom RE titles (including 2 GC ports), Murumasa, and maybe one first party title- almost all of which support Gamecube controllers.  I avoid the Wii at all costs.

As much as I'd like to see this game on the other consoles, chances are that it's not going to be.

In a perfect world, there'd be one universal console...oh wait, that's the PC. :p

Look, I understand how you guys feel (no really, I do). But did you also see the mini-games? The mini-games were even centered on Wii-Remote related controls.

I have to agree. The Wii just wasn't made for fighting games, and its crowd.

In my opinion, this game should be multiplatform. I realize it must have been pretty hard for Capcom get this game to be released, but I think its success will be compromised if only released on the Wii.

Also, regarding the mini-games... they're not the main part of the game, so I don't think any one will mind playing just the core of the game, that is, the actual fighting.

I'm fine with it being for Wii only.  Any chance we could get some achievement/trophy type stuff if they're not already in there though?  I've become somewhat addicted to them and games without them tend to fall by the wayside until I've finished the ones that do have them.

First off, I want to thank Capcom for this. You guys are the fan's gaming company.

Now then.

This hardcore/casual debate seriously needs to end. Aren't we all gamers?

Second, neglecting main demographic?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

HA.

I see a double standard from some of the PS3/360 base on this game.

Aren't you people satisfied enough as it is? You get SF4, MVC2, Bionic Commando etc and as soon as the Wii gets something, you cry like babies and say I want that too. You guys are not getting it because its built on Wii hardware and to porting it to new systems would cost Capcom a bundle.

Not all but some PS3 and 360 owners are spolied brats geez. Let the Wii have this one for once.

I know something you can have. You guys get...

B-ri, the other systems got SFIV so let this system have a fighter that's just as good. Heck, just be glad the game even made it here in the US. Capcom worked their butts off to get this game here and you're STILL complaining? C'mon! Enough is enough! Stop with the complaints.

I agree with CS...cause just the fact that capcom somehow managed to release a game with characters that haven't even seen the light of day here in america is amazing. The liscensing issues are the main reason games such as TVC and jump Ultimate stars are never released in the U.S.......yet we are obtaining one with just such issues.

Capcom deserves a big pat on the back for pushing through and releasing a game that most thought would never come.
