Yeah I've got to go with you on that. The cast for the game seems odd anyway. I mean really, do people actually give a crap about Saki? Why not get rid of her and replace her with someone cool?

Because the game needs a Cable analogue (albeit more balanced then he ever was).

That said, I actually like the fact that they're willing to give obscure characters a go.

I don't think obscure characters are a bad thing. After all, one of my favorite characters from the game is Hakushon Daimao, and look at that guy!

I guess I only siad that due to the fact that of all the Capcom characters she's the one I don't know anything about.

obscure characters that are ever cult favorites or one's that people care about, i mean why Saki and not Jill from resi.i like alex but still why him and not Haggar from final fight or gene from godhand, whoever picks characters for the vs games is an idiot,take Marvel vs capcom 2 for example, 1.best fighting game made 2.the worst roster ever just street fighters and xmen,i hope if capcom do a TVC2 they actually LISTEN PROPERLY and use their brains to listen to fan suggestions. 

jill doesn't need to be in TvC. However, I'd say put either Leon, Chris, Claire, Ada, or Sheva. You have to consider these RE characters!

We have 3 SF and 3 Mega Man Characters which is good enough! For a future sequel, you might as well add a SFIV character such as Crimson Viper for example! That way SF 1,2,3 and 4 would have a representative!

Other candidates-

Wang-Tang- Power Stone 

Accel- Power Stone 2

Dante- Devil May Cry

Nero- Devil May Cry 4

Arthur- Ultimate Ghost and Goblins

The protagonist from Dead Rising 2

Amaterasu- Okami

Nathan Spencer- Bionic Commando

Consider how these Capcom characters would play in the future sequel.
