Tekkaman Blade Overpowered?

Tekkaman Blade is a VERY strong character, but I don't think that he's overpowered.  He has terrible mobility, so he is kept rather honest with that limitation.  I've put up some videos from Seasons Beatings 4 on my youtube channel.  www.youtube.com/kurasa

Is it just me or does he have a butt ton of range on his moves?  Especially that ariel attack of his. That can prob counter a DP.

He does have a ton of range, probably to make up for his mobility handicap.

Aside from hi going up when dashing from ground, I dont see any mobility problems. That dashing move where his lance is spinning and the other ones where he leaves it behind and pulls it towards hin self seem to make up for it. Plus his defense game is emaculate. Ground, air, anti-air and anti-anti-air moves aplenty?

Tekkaman Blade's dashes are similar to Morrigan's and his air dash uses his boosters to get across the screen.

His mobility doesn't seem to be too handicapped there at all. He's plenty fast, and his damage output at least doubles most of the other characters from the matches. I dunno, maybe there's something I'm missing, but he still looks way too powerful to me.

Well we dont need the nerf-nuke, nerf-cannon or nerf-bat yet, but perhapr the nerf-mace is in order?

What you're missing is his difficulty in approaching, due to the imparied ground and air dash. Ground dash trajectory doesn't help you approach, and there's a startup associated to it. The air dash also has major start up. This will mean alot for his game, as he can't rush you down nearly as effectively as other characters could, and his ability to punish mistakes without the use of super meter will be limited.

You should see more Tekkaman vids. Check here.

But he has like a dashing attack, a dashing switch-block attack, and a super that practically nullify his problem in mobility. Plus his ground and air attacks have a buttload of range so he doesnt need to get that close to you. But I do see what you're saying. Thats why I said the nerf-nuke wasnt necessary, but the nerf-mace(pepper spray) was in order. They guy is like a fast/weaker version of T-Hawk. Once he gats in you're ***ked...unless you have no idea how to use him

Give it a min. Lol game not even hear yet.

Everyone give support for Four Players option aka Cross Fever for Tatsunoko vs Capcom: UAS update for the console version. Go to the Tatsunoko general discussion and ask for this.
