^^ So apparently in order to do about 30% damage to an opponent I need to pull off a thirty hit combo followed by a super. Unless his combo ability has truly been geeked up, then he is only a pathetic shadow of himself. Albiet a kool looking pathetic shadow of his former self

So you're saying he has to hit you 3 or 4 times before bringing you down? Like a legitimate character?
No low defense or lack of mix-up compensates for japanese Karas' safe rushdown and crouching jab into end of round.

.....yes.....saying it takes too large of a combo to drop an opponents hp to 30% means I want a 3-4 hit ko. What I'm saying is he is capable of good combos already, but it just wont do as much damage as it should(they dropped his strength too low). And as far as I'm concerned a safe ruchdown doesnt mean as much if it can barely scratch an opponent.
PS: **** crouching jabs
PPS: For christ sake pleeeaaase stop overexaggerating my statements. I'm doing my best to be polite on this site. I dont need these SA comments
Karas hasn't been toned down too badly, some of the videos I've seen he does pretty well but ends up being stopped. A good example would be in the Comic Con vids where he builds momentum in his attacks but Alex ends up stopping him in both vids, I really wish they boost his defense but that won't stop me from playing as him in the game, just seeing him in action always been great.

His offense has been improved in other ways to compensate for the lack of damage. Now he has some legit mixup and can more easily land less damaging combos, instead of before when he just needing 1 single combo (that was harder to land due to lack of mix-ups) to finish an opponent. He's a better character for everyone with this change.
And you must not realize that a safe rushdown means that he gains meter about 4 times faster than his defending opponent. That means alot more megacrashes for him if he ever slips up, and meter for Lv3 if he needs unmegacrahsable damage of his own.

Lol, just like in the other thread you're the one over-reacting to my response. And if you don't want to have your posts be "overexaggerated" then stop "overexaggerating" them yourself. Look at you, "Unless Karas has some new hidden tricks they have ruined him as a character." "Wow capcom way to drop the ball."
Stop making careless, extreme assumptions and you probably won't get corrected for them.

I agree. He is now a fair character. If you want to dish out the damage, your going to have to work for it. Playing against the old, completely safe Karas has always been aggrivating because they could simply sit back and drone. 2A was ridiculous, his dash was ridiculous, and every successful hit would lead to 40% or more of your life gone and Karas with 5 meters.
One thing that I wished I'd tested is Karas' counter super. I want to know if it can still counter a Mega Crash.

I just woke up from a nap and dont feel like separating tis into parts so here goes. In one of my earlier post I implied that new tricks(that I migh not know about) and extended combo ability would make up for his failure in defense. I alsp questioned the skill of the people playing them. However I didnot think of how easily his eter would restock, were he go actually pull off a good combo.
Yes. saying "**** crouching pokes/jabs" was the politest prenap way for me to say how much I utterly hate them. They always felt so cheap (as is obvious in the video you posted). I rarely use them, and when I do it almost never more than 2 times. Its like watching little kids playing a video game and one is always winning by doing the same move over and over just because thats all he/she needs to do. Oh and if you thought the **** part was aimed at you, it wasnt.....this time
Those sentences are not overexaggerated "Unless Karas has some new hidden tricks they have ruined him as a character." "Wow capcom way to drop the ball." The first sentence gives two scenarios: having hidden tricks and not having them. The last part of the sentence is based on the latter scenario being true. And I dont see how potentially making one of the best characters in the game one of the worst not dropping the ball
I might have been half sleep but but my comment was neither careless or exaggerated. And since I used scenarios with multiple outcomes I dont see why any one would feel the need to correct me over one outcome out of several. However, if I knew that once again youd take hings the wrong way I prob wouldnt have posted as I do not enjoy your writing as it tends to attack people who are just saying what they think. And, with the exception of sarcasm(which I accept), you tend to attack them rudely. So if I dont respond to your next post thats why.
EDIT:@david and Kurasa good points

I definitely still think it's an exaggeration. First of all, rushing to conclude that a character is overpowered is a noobish thing to do. It only makes sense to say that a character is overpowered if he's that much stronger than the rest of the cast, and we can't say for certian how the rest of the characters will match up to him, especially given that several of them have undergone changes. And you're going as far as to snark at Capcom for messing something up that's still in an unfinalized state, and that you haven't played yet.
However, if I knew that once again youd take hings the wrong way I prob wouldnt have posted as I do not enjoy your writing as it tends to attack people who are just saying what they think.
Heh, alright. I'll dismiss most of this whole discussion as you being in a "prenap" state. Although you clearly have a bias against me from the other thread, since you agreed with David and Kurasa, even though my post wasn't any less discordant than theirs on any objective ground. And you're sensitive to my "attacking" people, though I don't see how my original reply to you here was an attack any more than on the other thread. But it's fine. If responding to me is going to upset you because of my tone or who I am, then don't worry about. We'll just let it go.
Justin Wong's impressions of the new characters from NYC Fight Club.
Before SSF4 was showcased to the public, Me and Marn were playing the new TVC. We were basically the new characters such as Frank West, Tekkaman Blade, Joe the Condor, and of course Zero from MegamanX series. The characters I personally like was Zero because he was the Zero from megamanX4. They gave him a dash like in the actual game, where you’ll see a clone of yourself. He also has a flame uppercut with his sword. He has a sword bnb combo he had in the game. What was cool about him mostly was that his lvl3 was like really crazy. It was just that his sword grew big, and you just went through him like on some anime cinema type of thing.
Joe the Condor was also fun. He has a mixture of Ken the Eagle and Jun together. His level 3 was basically some Rock Lee (Naruto) lotus move if anything. Other than that I felt he was a great character.
Tekkaman Blade is a straight up gundam. He moves like one and fights like one. His level 3 even looks like one also. But he was a interesting character. He can dash to the end of the screen so fast in split of a second.
