Age of Booty has been partially broken since its release on PSN. Capcom, you have explained why this happend (see this thread http://www.capcom-unity.com/ageofbooty/go/thread/view/13111/5169066/Lockups_on_PS3) but the recently released patch has broken the game completely. I rang Sony (Australia) to ask for a refund but was basically told to go away ("Sony do not know of any issues with this game and will not provide a refund. You should speak with the publisher about a refund..."). It has been six weeks now, please provide a fix or a way to get a refund. |

We are aware of the issues with the PS3 version of Age of Booty. What basically is that through not fault of our own (Capcom) the wrong version of the game was released when it shouldn't have been which is the reason why there is an issue in the first place. This only affects the European version on the PS3. We did try patching the issue but again through no fault of our own the way it was distributed was incorrect. We are currently working to release an emergency patch (take 2) that should fix the problem once and for all. Thank you for your patience and understanding. ![]() Randy Reyes Capcom Support & Part Time Agent of Order |

Oh, great! So it is not Sony's fault and it is not Capcom's fault! I guess it must be the customer's fault then so let´s treat all customers like they are our enemy! Randy Reyes (Double_r), if you work with Support as your title suggest maybe you should post a comment in the AoB forum where alot more people are complaining that can't even start a game which they have bought for their well earned money! Capcom support is so far a sad joke! |

Wow. That's completely unacceptable. Some damage control should really be done for users like you.

A fix has just been posted for AoB PSN SCEE users (who downloaded Trial or bought the game using the trial). The patch is live now. You will need to delete the old version, redownload AoB from the Download List inside the sony store. It should then autopatch on next launch to version 1.02. Please post if you run into any problems with this fix. ~tim |

I understand you must be upset at this situation but understand that we in no way think that is the customer's fault that any of this happed. We are not trying to treat our customers like they are the "enemy" or else we would not have tried our best to figure out what the cause of the issue was and released a patch to fix it. ![]() Randy Reyes Capcom Support & Part Time Agent of Order |
