No, Capcom needs to feel our rage,

Im not a programmer, i dont know whats wrong, but i do know that of the 3 people that i know that live around me that have re5, all of us have issues with our save files. (WE CAN FCKIN PLAY THEM)

Capcom has not making any large public statement. They are not even admiting the problem let alone they're plans in attempting to address it. The general uniformed public will conitinue to buy faulty copies of the game.  Even if it's one in twenty (I assume its far higher) people should have the righ to know. Would you buy an ipod if only one in twenty worked? (Well we did buy 360s with those odds...)

Video Games can be expensive, and people should be reimburssed. If it wasn't for the game stores allowing copies to be traded in (which still the game doesn't work anyway) there would be nothing.

By not telling the general public theyre knowinling selling them a faulty product. If people don't make a fuss about, they'll do it again, over and over. They only way they will listen is if they loose money, because money is all they care about.

deamon and sniper, why dont you guys get a room rather than sitting watching the thread all night. That way you can be gay together.

Run along and play with each other. You think capcom is going to give you a medal for being nice. Wake up pal.

Shutdown my 360 console when it froze at the loading screen in between cutscene/gameplay (which happens a lot to me for some reason).  When I turned it back on to play later, got the "saved game data appears to be damaged" error, so I'm in the same boat as everyone else.  However, I'm a rat that will be fleeing this sinking ship.  I will be trading my game in tomorrow (will raise hell to get full credit for it) on something else.  I have to say that Street Fighter 4 really impressed me, but now I have lost all faith in Capcom after this little RE5 mishap.  I thought it may be my console going faulty again, but now that I see that a lot of other people are having the same problem, I'm getting out while the market value is still good and can hopefully get all of my money back on the game.  Hope anyone that decides to keep the game gets a fix for it really soon.

sorry for everyone else that actually cared to find a fix without spaming and creating accounts just to say how they hate capcom.

That implies that if you created an account to voice your concern to capcom, you don't actually care about fixing the game, just causing a ruckus. Why can't they be both? Why are you blanketing and disimissing everyone so absolutley, because they were being rude? Do you want us to lie about our feelings?

Very few questions with easy answers seemed to be cherry picked and answered by the moderators, because of they're convient answers, while ignoring the obvious questions, that are re-asked by different people.

And its only the little moderators that respond at all, never capcom, they would have to come down to our level. Most people were being very polite when these post started, and some are still trying to be, but Capcom has ignored everyone. They won't even admit to a fault.

It's pretty clear this "ask capcom" ****, is just them marketing ploy, I would doubt any from Capcom has read any of this. Capcom only cares about money, they always have. They release one good title, then release 30 versions of it with turbo ore alpha or zero in the title, until its watered down drivel.

The bottom line is money.

Report this to the Wall Street Journal with a link to the various complaints.  Let them look into this objectively and publish their findings.  Once you compile the links, you might as well send it to the different gaming magazines as well, see if any of them will bite.

If you'd like to file a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs, this is the link:
https://app.dca.ca.gov/cru/gencomplaint.asp

If you'd like to file your complaint directly with Capcom Corporate, this is their contact info:
CAPCOM U.S.A., INC.  & CAPCOM ENTERTAINMENT, INC.
HIROSHI TOBISAWA
800 CONCAR DRIVE, SUITE300
SAN MATEO, CA 94402

You can file a complaint in your own state as well, but there are jurisdictional issues that will afford Capcom certain defenses.  However, they have no such defenses in California because they are incorporated there.

Capcom needs to change their mindset on gamesaves, but this won't happen until they are forced to.

I believe it still exists within the drive. The disc cannot recognize the save that's all.

On the old xbox you could just transfer the save file to a pc and edit/repair it.  Not sure what's available for the 360 regarding ftp'ing stuff from the hard drive or memory card, but I might need to put my hacker-hat on again.  (It's really cool, even has a spinning propeller on top).

Honestly, it's likely a goof-up between capcom and microsoft.  Maybe the RE franchise needed to stay with PS3 and Wii, where the retarded use of save points and limited memory options are welcome.  Capcom games are to unreliable to work from a single memory save, and their programers are complete a-holes when it comes to destroying your hardware (Dead Rising-lightsaber achievement).  Might as well set some houses on fire if your going to require the hotbox 360 to remain on for 14+ hours.

Thank you. I will look into all of it. I must add I am a Canadian citizen, (the land of wolverine and william shatner!)  so I might have issue with regards to filing a consumer complaint, but we'll see. If all else fails, Ill just start sending Capcom bags of poop in the mail.
