Resident Evil 5 Launch problem - Nvidia Card & RE5DX9.exe

Dear all,


I am fine with the RE5 Benchmark software, but for the game i could not launch


I have following configuation


Core Q9550
GTX250 1GB
Boss companion 3 as sound card
4 GB ram
Windows XP service pack 3
Nvidia driver 190.62


But i could not start the game due to the following error.


1) Resident evil 5 : RE5DX9.exe severe application termination
     ERR09: Unsupported function


2) InitRpl Failed
       Errorcode:80070002


Can anyone told me what is my problem? i tried to change monitor driver, and have updated to the
newest nvidia driver, but nothing seems to work

Just to be sure you do have the latest updates for DirectX, right?

I have got same problem.


But I have got oldest PC. I have got P4 3,2 GHz, 2 GB Ram and ATI Radeon X1650 256 MB.


I have got new directX and Ati driver 9.8.


But Devil May Cry 4 and Street Fighter 4 are run on high settings on resolution 1024*768 very well, but Resident Evil 5 doesnt works.
