    classic megaman on ds

alright megafans, i've just joined the capcom unity and think that this site looks awesome. my favourite game that capcom have made has to be the blue legend that is megaman. i've always been fasinated by japanese graphic design such as all characters in the games like airman, gemini man and shadowman. i think its great that they created megaman zx for the ds but it would be cool to see the classic megaman running across the duel screen. if capcom make megaman 10, i think they should keep the retro look but change the gameplay and interactive features that would not be possible on the NES. this would give it a real edge...subtle, effective and innovative design. what are your thoughts? thanks for your time.

That's something I'd like to see, too. It seems like 2D platformers are better suited to portable systems rather than consoles now, for the most part. And who wouldn't love another addition to the classic series, especially after MM9? I think it'd be pretty cool if they made a version of Mega Man 9 for the DS similar to what they used to do with the original Gameboy games: have some of the same bosses, but different levels, different plot, new robot(s), etc. That would just make the throwback complete. In the meantime, you can always get the classic games on your DS with homebrew tools and emulation if you know how to go about such things, but still, a new game would top everything.

I'm all for MegaMan 10 on DS. I'm also for keeping the retro look, or at least MM7. MM8's style just doesn't fit the classic series as well.

Also, have you played the 8-bit minigame in MegaMan ZXAdvent?
