Well there haven't been any real darkstalkers games since Darkstalkers 3 so its kind of understandable that they're being brought back through spinoff fighters. I think the most overused character capcom has is Ryu. I mean they even have him in that new Megaman game trailer.

I mean Ryu is really one of the most overrated characters I've seen, him getting to be the poster boy of Capcom gets tiring fast.
If I had to choose a poster boy for Capcom it would be either Dante, Viewtiful Joe, Leon Kennedy, or Frank West.
