I just wish the demo would have been a single player level so that I could make a better decision. I would really like to see the single player mode. I think the online mode may have been just tacked on.

I've owned Policenauts for about 5 years now on the PS1. Never played it, lol. I too can't wait for the fan sub to be done. I've followed their updates for the past few months. I believe they said you need an original copy of the game in order to play the their version. So I'm just waiting.
