I got a game with BBEDev05 around 11 PM EST. I thanked him for all of his and Backbone's work updating the game.

I showed him that he can't handle Fei Long. I also remember a close game where he picked Vega against my Dhalsim, but I showed him the meaning of noogies, although I dropped the first round because I couldn't defend against the jump in.

I had about a 10 game win streak before my first disconnect. I then found a game with HIERO 9D3, who was responsible for the SF HD trailers (with the You're The Best music). Right now, I'm watching Hiero do well in a Guile mirror match. Oop, he tried a loop one too many times and ate a flash kick.

HIERO is an awesome guy, and we even talked about other genres of games, like pro wrestling (make one!!). He wasn't a bad player at all.

Now it's another mirror match. Lots of footsie. Okay, everyone is playing Guile. SON-SONIC-BOOM-BOOM. Good lord. 

s-kill had a room open, but it filled right before I could join. Damn. Oop! I got in.

I am playing Seth Killian. He is Zangief, I am Fei Long.

Bad sign: He opens with running grab and hits it. The rest of the match is him using his ranges perfectly, and me eating SPD's. I get a few reversal flame kicks, but that's the dog and pony show.

Playing CAPCOM Derek's game now. Fei Long again, versus Cammy. I do very well in the first round, and then he comes back to win round 1... and perfect in round 2. His timing is insane.

Jesus. His Hooligan setups are nuts. My Vega got a round on him, but that was it. Apparently, Derek hasn't lost yet. Now I HAVE to beat him.

AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH. One pixel away. I HAVE YOU. You know it. Next time, I will see your patterns.

Okay, or not.

Well, I can't beat him. He's too good.

(Aside to Derek - I guess you better not forget to tell Ed Boon all that stuff. Man, that guy was AMAZING.)

And in the final match, I defeat Capcom Derek with Vega! Making me the only person to defeat Capcom Derek tonight.

And it's 9:30 Pacific, so it's time to call it a night. Derek thanks everyone and leaves.
