A lot of fans are demanding for Venom or Mega Man to appear in Marvel vs Capcom 3. I love both characters, but I still would like to see new characters appear that haven't been used in the series before. One of those characters I personally would love to see included is Darkhawk!
Darkhawk has been a part of Marvel comics for over a decade and very little has he appeared outside the Marvel universe of comics. He would be fresh, interesting, and fun addition to an already great and diverse roster in Marvel vs Capcom 3. Please Capcom and/or Marvel, include Darkhawk!

Special Moves:
Concussion Blasts





: Darkhawk fires red light beam from his amulet chest, very familiar to Ironman's Unibeam but this move have potential hit chain & effect than Ironman doesn't have. The
is ordinary basic projectile beam, however, in the air, he fires tilt down causing OTG at opponent.
is shot medium size of beam, causing enemy get stagger to knock behind, in the air version, just fires straight forward and wallbounce effect.
is best use of this move but it have slow start-up, the large beam will knock opponent causing into wallbounce and the air version, fires OTG & causing effect of ground bounce.
Heat Armor


(Only works for hyper meter. Drain 1 per Hype meter): This is basic move will make Darkhawk's armor become hard & anti-flinch without getting knock-out by normal projectile, except normal moves, special physical move & hyper moves (including normal counter & hyper counter will flinch his armor depend to per-hit combo & also hyper projectile)."Heat Armor" will display icon like "Diamond" shape at above hyper meter, where there is 5 empty diamond icon.
Equip "Heat Armor" is one condition, is drain one hyper meter for fill per-each one diamond; basically, you were equip 5 times, which mean you already have 5 diamond were red flashing diamond. The reason is due this move was antishield-projectile, once your opponent fires projectile like Hadoken and hit Darkhawk, he never get damage by projectile, and then 1 red-flashing diamond will disabled due hit by projectile.
Sounds very cheap but it have own their weakness, like Chris's Machine Gun & Ironman's Unibeam for example: Ironman use Light version of Unibeam due it has mutiple 3 hit combo, which mean Darkhawk's Heat Armor will disable 3 diamond. If Ironman use Hard version of Unibeam in 10 hit combo, meaning Heat Armor will disable all diamond but decrease damage depend of hit combo number neither luck or not:
Ironman's Unibeam "Hard" (20,000 Damage = 10 HC) - Darkhawk's Heat Armor (5,000 shield = 5 Diamond) =
Darkhawk get 5 HC by Unibeam "Hard" and get damage 15000.
Yes, including hyper projectile, hyper counter & hyper level 3 will disable these Heat Armor and also decrease hit combo number and damage.
However, Heat Armor is also helpful to increase special effect for special moves by follow up: Light Dash, Rising Dawn & Deadly Wing is only available and also decrease 1 per diamond. Read "Light Dash, Rising Dawn & Wing Blade" for to help understand what Heat Armor works in his three special moves.
Light Dash
(If use "Heat Armor"

: This move are look familiar to Ken The Eagle's Bird Shoot from Tatsunoko vs Capcom, unlike of Bird Shoot, this move have special effect. Darkhawk do a flying torpedo at his opponent and does have eight direction way dash attack. Hold any
button (Might attack in different direction) to charge his Light Dash with special effect by follow-up equip"Armor Up". This move will through projectile except hyper move without getting hit. Very useful for tactic combo chain and it does trick & trap against projectile/zoning character.
It can be used in the air with use jump cancel or dash cancel to do this "Light Dash" after use cancel move twice only. Though Darkhawk is free to attack or block during the recovery. It is also useful in giving Darkhawk good mobility to get position. For example: Taskmaster use Aim Master L+H from airbounce, Darkhawk will dash through Taskmaster's projectile by act combine as anti-air & anti-zoning. This move also works in air while Darkhawk stay in airbounce. Therefore, this move have armored and without getting hit if equip with "Armor Up".

Rising Dawn

every type of L,M,H from this move is require "Heat Armor" for 1 per diamond only (
by projectile itself): Bizzare projectile and yet, effective. There are three different projectile and unlike Concussion Blast, need require "Heat Armor" only because the projectile was cheap and safe keep-away from rushdown type character and flight character or make a trap against them . Following setup by:

by projectile itself) is shoots a red beam that can ricochet off of walls in a 45 degree angle for a while. Very useful against flight and if someone jumping around & get accidently. It will dissapear in 4 sec.
(If require chargeable to active
) shots fireballs at enemies, and it can be charged to increase its range and power, being able to deal great damage when fully charged. If doesn't need chargeable, it will shoot fast enough but no
. Probably the fastest projectile than Concussion Blasts.
(Need require 5 per "Heat Armor" only) fire a burst of energy from his amulet chest half 1/2 bottom screen. This is very good effective against hyper projectile like Proton Cannon, sort of like "Megacrash" from TVC. Basically, all you need wait some character release hyper projectile, once you defend and press H+S together then the screen will flash it. The opponent will
after hit by this projectile half-full screen.
Deadly Wing
(If
equip with "Heat Armor): Darkhawk performs a powerful horizontal slash by his wing.
is The Light Attack version of this move comes out faster, no special effect. 
is winds up and swings his left wings forward in an arc to thrusts his arm in a slicing motion to chain 6 hit combo.

Flight




: The retractable glider wings under his arms allow him to glide on air currents. It can cancel by dash or jump.
Steel Cable
: Darkhawk dashes at the opponent with a punch by his grappling hook steel cable. There is any various move in different attack button:

is where Darhawk dashes and punch at opponent, nothing special about it but deal great damage, quick startup dash and quick cancel by any special like Light Dash, normal or hyper moves.

does dashes toward opponent, thus spins his wings around him horizontally at opponent hit-box down stance and punch by steel cable causing knock opponent back into wallbounces. This is very effective against projectile character, where Darkhawk through projectile like Lei-Lei's dash teleport.
does dashes toward opponent, thus steel cable punch and very quick startup steel cable-uppercut. Except this move can't through projectile and due have slow startup.
is where Darkhawk hops into the air and delivers a fierce, spinning downward hand-steel cable swing while hits overhead. Can cancel by any special moves before he delivers punch during he hops into the air.
Hyper Moves:
Devastator Blasts



: Darkhawk fires a tremendously powerful beam from his amulet chest, causing tons of damage to any opponent character in its path. It has some start-up time to execute. However, this hyper move is also work at airbounce and fires straight forward. The hit combo is 30 hits.
Illuminate Force




: A counter move that activates when Darkhawk is hit except hit him with projectile, doesn't work. In this start-up cinematic move, Darkhawk will defend himself with his wing. Once Darkhawk get hit, he will execute when the cinematic screen will freeze for a moment while opponent were also freeze.Then cinematic background screen turn into white and both of character will be black silhouette.
Darhawk will strikes flying torpedo attack in random from any direction on opponent while opponent were still freeze, leaving the scratch torn screen in comc book style like Wolverine's Berserker Barrage and Iron Fist's Fist of Fury. Once Darkhawk land on the ground after that, the cinematic will turn back into normal, Darkhawk turn his back without looking opponent.
The opponent were freezing will back into normal stance except one thing; He/she will hit several times and suddenly launch him/herself into airbounce due after Darkhawk's fly torpedo attack. Mostly this hyper move just like samurai style scene where the enemy didn't realize the opponent already slash him/her without notice that he/she had been cut/slashed. This move is also works in air and it can be also launch enemy into high airbounce except Darkhawk is still land on the ground to active this move.
This hyper move is can be most easier make Darkhawk free to attack enemy if get counter attack in chain combo especially in the ground. For example, active this move, the enemy will launch and Darkhawk hit him/her in airbounce like Chun-Li's Hoyokusen launch effect.
Codename :"Destruction" 




(HYPER LEVEL3):Darkhawk unleash his fly speed limit to dashes towards his opponent and delivering powerful punch at his opponent's upperbody; in the cinematic air version, he knee kick on opponent's chin. Once deliver beatdown, he grab opponent (in ground & air are same cinematic scene) and fly together to toward into high airbounce. Darkhawk will let enemy go and stay in airbounce.
Darkhawk flies across the screen intercepting, pummering his opponent and thus stabbing opponent by his steel cable after final flies across the screen. After that Darkhawk's amulet chest were suddenly glowing red-light. Darkhawk pull his steel cable and fires from his amulet chest at an opponent. Darkhawk continue firing "Concussion Blasts" and teleporting around circle in front of an opponent. The more Darkhawk teleporting while shooting "Concussion Blasts", Darkhawk produce the effective aura "hologram", the more he keep shooting with use lot of "hologram" of himself in circling around opponent at the airfield.
While Darkhawk's aura hologram is still shooting circle around opponent, the "real" Darkhawk were actually above the sky. His Concussion Blast is now fully charge, he unleash it triggers the full power attack in which he will open his amulet chest and then blast the opponent with a super powerful stream of light. The aura hologram is now dissapear, leaving opponent stagger for a while; the stream of light beam is heading downward through knock opponent until reach on the land. Making hitting on the land with powerful beam will release explosive kamikaze. Darkhawk land on the ground when the cinematic scene is finish (Depend neither KO scene or not).

This places your opponent into a slow falling state.

Irony, i didn't expect how popular "Birdman" achertype these day especially in Japan. (Gatchaman, Karas, Jetman and list goes on related to "Birdman").
