Here is a beautiful HDTV with Resident Evil 5 in 3D. :D
Linda Ramone and her entourage trying out the 3D experience.
These PC rigs were pretty sweet.
RE5 may look blurry to both you and I, but with those glasses, it was very crisp and beautiful.
TongariDan and I were blown away at the stunning 3D effects.
An afternoon shot of the crowd and screen where they were going to show the feature films.
A night shot of the 3D screen being adjusted.
A shot of Johnny Ramone from the "It's Alive" New years eve concert.
Here's a short clip of the concert.
Also at the event, there was also a feature film of Night of the Living dead which was Johnny Ramone's 4th favorite film of all time. To celebrate his love for the film, it was remastered not only into full color, but also was retouched to be viewed in 3D. Unfortunately I have no shots of this, but it was great to say the least. :D
This was a great time and I hope everyone who went to this event enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you Capcom & Nvidia for the invite! Btw, there is currently a promotion available by Nvidia where you can get the GEForce 3D Vision glasses for free via tigerdirect.com.
On the 25th of June Capcom and Iam8bit held an event for the release of the Street Fighter The Legend of Chun Li on both DVD and Blu-Ray at the Mountain Bar in Chinatown, California. (Photos courtesy of Mpsy)
Pretty cool logo don't you think?
The mysterious Mountain Bar....
(Chinatown)
(The path to enlightenment)
Chinatown in all its neon glory.
The street fighter crowd was quite active and social.
Everyone was captivated to my left by the matches being held...
and captivated to my right as well.
The tournament went smoothly with a 3 round single elim setup and a $2,000 prize!
There was no shortage of chun li anywhere and thats always a good thing. =)
Seriously though, open bar, Free tacos with your choice of beef, pork, tofu, and shrimp. What is not to love?!
Today people. It comes out today. :)I've been waiting for this game for a good while now. Something about the MH series is just so fulfilling when you defeat monsters on your own and with your friends. So the other day, I happened to be at the Santa Anita Mall, and I spotted some Monster Hunter Portable 2G gashapons. One of them was a Naruga Karuga a.k.a. Nargacuga. The other was a Diablos. So after thinking about it for 2 seconds, I scored the Naruga Karuga which sits nicely in my room.
The following day I stopped by a Gamestop and ran into fellow Unity Member B.Revolver. He gave me a physical copy of the demo which I now have on display with my other MH stuff.
Pretty epic no?
All that is left now, is to go pick up my copy of Unite, so that I can slay me some new Monsters.
