Welcome to the site man! Well to tell you the truth I am new myself but I can tell you that this is the place to fill yourself with knowledge about Capcom, its games and fans.

So, keep track of the forums and you will be up to date. Good luck!

Lifetime points are accrued when you do things on the site. So, for instance, every time you add a comment to another person's space you get 10 lifetime points. Points are rewarded for various different actions here on the site. If you click the blue "50" next to your "Lifetime Points" under your avatar it will show you a detailed breakdown. There are some hidden ways to get points but I'm not sure what they are. Occasionally, Capcom will run auctions where you can place bids for rare merchandise using your Lifetime Points as "money." Capcom also has a special shop or store where you can purchase things with your points, once again working on the philosophy that your LP acts as "money." I don't remember exactly how to access that special store or look at what things are up for auction but I think it is at the bottom of your detailed breakdown.

I just looked at your breakdown and I guess how it works is you have to discover what gives you points before it gives you a breakdown. So you've posted a comment on my wall so the breakdown notes that you discovered that. I guess I can tell you what I know gives you points. I know writing a blog gives you points. I know rating material gives you points. For this you have to either go into someone's blog or look at their pictures and at the bottom of the blog/picture there stars. If you click the fourth star you just rated that piece of media a four star. Thus, you get points. I also know that creating groups and posting on the forum give you points too.

Sure WolfGang I can help. What is it that you are hoping to do? I think when you start up on the site it provides you with a tutorial on getting your profile ready for observation. Beyond that your links to groups, friends and your profile edits are on the left underneath your avatar. Links to Capcom/Unity/Your blog, forums and groups are on the top of the site. From there you can also access the front page of the site where Capcom contributes such as Sven and S-kill regularly post interesting tidbits of information on Capcom-related projects.
