DuckTales THEN & NOW Comparison Art: Unlocked

Aug 19, 2013 // Chris

Your look at what a difference over two decades makes can be unlocked in-game!

Yeah, DuckTales: Remastered is a bit on the short side by today’s standards, but most fans (and even reviewers ) completely understand why. The original game was challenging to say the least, so folks coasting through on Easy aren’t exactly getting the most out of the experience. With that in mind, there’s still a literal treasure trove of unlockable items you can earn yourself in-game simply by parting with your hard earned loot. Today we’re showing you the tip of that unlockable iceberg!

Oh yes indeed, there is a lot to unlock in DT:R’s art gallery, which is some pretty good incentive for DuckFans to perfect playthroughs, speedruns, and amass small fortunes for leaderboard glory. But more importantly, this art WayForward put together in just the first tier of unlockable art, plus it saves me a bit of trouble for something I’d wanted to do for Unity anyway!

Behold: Gorgeous, high-re character art/model sheets! Not only can you see all your favorite Duckburg inhabitants and orange-billed enemies in their various forms, you can even catch a glimpse of their 8-bit counterparts from over 20 years ago, when Capcom originally braved the Amazon, Transylvania, etc.

I’m just posting my favorites here, but you can click on over into our DuckTales: Remastered Unlockable Character Art gallery and check ‘em all out , among many , many other Duck-related raditude. DuckTales: Remastered is out now on PS3, Wii U, and Steam, and comes out September 11th on Xbox Live ( with free Avatar items !)
