Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, new screens and price announced

Aug 28, 2013 // Chris

Justice, perception, falconry, PAX Prime, and a price await your investigative eyes

We’ve got a bit of good news today for Ace Attorney fans, not the least of which being an appearance at PAX 2013 this weekend, where fans will be able to get an advanced hands-on with the game, as well as a photo-op with Phoenix Wright himself.

We’ve also got a ton of new screenshots . As many of you already know, Apollo Justice is back with his perceive ability in Dual Destinies. However, while many of you may have chuckled at Apollo getting assaulted by that falcon in one of Dual Destinies previous trailers

The situation is a little more serious than that, people. That bird is none other than Taka, winged sidekick to prosecutor Simon Blackquill, and the encounter blocks Apollo’s ability to see through lies in the courtroom. Seriously, who lets a falcon in a courtroom?!

Outside of the courtroom, and more importantly, away from that dang bird, Apollo’s free to unleash his abilities of perception to read tells and uncover truths. Like say, what the hell is going on in this Panda box?!

Following our community Q & A with Dual Destinies producer Motohide Eshrio , we know many of you expressed some disappointment with the game not getting a physical release. However, one of the benefits of being available digitally is a little more flexibility with pricing. While many of you assumed the game would cost $40, we’re happy to announce today that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies will be priced at $29.99 / €24.99 when it launches this fall in the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

So come take the game for a spin at PAX Prime this weekend. If you can’t make it to Seattle, there’s always more Ace Attorney goodness right here
